The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Ho there.
Ho throws out a powerful jab.
Kemauchi takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Ho's coach down at Hughes MMA Academy ($50 Per Week) Closing On Thurs was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ho's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

and Kemauchi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Ho moves out of range as Kemauchi strikes.
Ho appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.

Kemauchi tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Kemauchi looks for the body kick but Ho saw that one coming.
Ho bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kemauchi's head.
Ho throws a head kick but Kemauchi moves out of range.

Phat Ho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kemauchi clobbers Ho with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Kemauchi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kemauchi throws a lazy right hand but Ho sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kemauchi needs to keep his hands up - Ho had a free shot at his head there.
Kemauchi rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ho counters with a low kick, right behind Kemauchi 's knee.

Ho has managed to clinch.
Kemauchi tries to break free but Ho pushes him back against the cage.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ho lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Kemauchi or not.
Oh Kemauchi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Ho dips a shoulder and cracks Kemauchi with a mighty uppercut! Kemauchi falls back against the cage and Ho unloads with a barrage of strikes! Kemauchi is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Ho screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

King uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bone.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bone drops back, looking for a kneebar! King looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. King looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from King!

Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - a gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Bone tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but King wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Bone manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Bone moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Bone had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. King defends it easily.

King got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bone has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, King has managed to get both his arms back between Bone's legs - danger averted.
Bone bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in King's guard.

Bone tries to pass the half guard into mount. King knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Bone moves into full mount! King won't be happy about that!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
King can't escape the position.

Bone is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But King has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from King!
