The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

MacDonald with the counter takedown but Cash avoids it easily.

Cash gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Cash scores with a shoulder strike.
Cash gets through MacDonald's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Cash keeps the fight in the clinch, despite MacDonald's efforts to push away.

MacDonald's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Will MacDonald seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cash gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows MacDonald to score an easy takedown into full guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
MacDonald lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

A big strike lands for MacDonald! That's really hurt Cash and he's turned his back - MacDonald keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! MacDonald jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
