 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Price misses. Price misses with a body shot.
Price fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Quadros manages to avoid it. Price missing with a left hand there. Quadros was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Quadros uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Price. Quadros throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Price misses with a body shot.
Quadros shoots in but Price avoids the takedown attempt easily. Quadros plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! A head kick misses from Quadros. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Price is defended easily by Quadros. Price will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Price on the wrong end of a nice hook.  That's one minute gone in the round. Quadros moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Crunch! Quadros slams his shin into Price's torso. A nice combination there by Quadros.
Quadros thuds his right hand into Price's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Price rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Quadros moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Price shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Quadros as he jumps to the side. Quadros throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Price loads up on a big right hand but Quadros slips the punch. Quadros stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Quadros wants it to stay on the feet. Quadros tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Price dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Price. Price takes a head kick and keeps coming.

and Quadros counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Quadros. Price drops down looking for an ankle pick but Quadros pulls his leg out and moves away.
Quadros uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Price.
Quadros shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Quadros looking to control but Price is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Price gets back to half guard. Price is pressing down on Quadros's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Quadros must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Price looking to hit a scissor sweep but Quadros is one step ahead there. Price pulls Quadros in close to prevent any damage. Price is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Price slows the pace down in half guard. Price has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Price slips a nice elbow through Quadros's hands, connecting with Quadros's forehead. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Kaique Quadros dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Price missing with a left hand there. Quadros was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Nice body kick there by Quadros. Quadros misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Price tries to keep at a distance but Quadros has taken the fight into the clinch. Quadros is trying to force a seperation but Price has the dominant position. Quadros prevents a takedown attempt there.

Price throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Price. Quadros moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Price misses with a shot to the body and Quadros counters with a flying knee. Nice. No luck for Price with that takedown attempt. Quadros tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Quadros gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Price counters with a takedown into side control.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Quadros is trying to improve his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Quadros tries to strike but it doesn't land. Quadros is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Check out the look on Price's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Price is putting a hurting on Quadros here, landing some big shots from side control. Price working the head and body with strikes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Price in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Price remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Price has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Price throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Quadros was covering up waiting for the punch and Price finishes the takedown easily into guard. Price not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Price slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Price in side control lands a decent elbow. Price in side control, just content to control the action for now. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Quadros can do anything to dispel that myth.

Quadros takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Price takes a little break here. Quadros wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Price has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Quadros!
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Price tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Quadros really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Price cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Quadros is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Price has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Quadros's face.
Price lands with some strikes. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Price cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Quadros is still in real trouble! Can Price finish him? Travis Price overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. He lands one big shot that has Quadros covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!

Maia uses good head movement to avoid the hook from yan. Maia tries for a takedown but yan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. yan lands a high kick!
 It looks like Damian Maia has been cut. yaw yan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. yan cracks Maia with a good jab. yan fails with an attempt to clinch.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Maia crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from yan - the referee stops the clock and Maia gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says yan. Maia manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. yan tries to clinch
and Maia counters with a shoot takedown. yan fights it but they end up in guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! yan has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

He's almost out here... but no, Maia gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Maia looking to control but instead yan has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Maia is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so yan is just riding it out for now. Maia eventually gives up the hold.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. yan keeping hold of Maia's head, controlling as best he can. yan won't allow Maia to pass to mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. yan is concentrating on defense, preventing Maia from advancing position.
And that's the end of the fight! Damian Maia comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Maia has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gimmerson. Gimmerson avoids the head kick by Heysel.

Gimmerson ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Heysel is breathing heavily. Heysel misses with a head kick.
Gimmerson rushes Heysel and presses him up against the cage. Heysel tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Gimmerson lands a right hand that snaps the head of Heysel backwards. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gimmerson lands on the inside with an uppercut.
 It looks like Heysel Heysel has been cut. Gimmerson lands a body shot in the clinch.
Gimmerson is trying to trip Heysel. He has hold of a leg but Heysel is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Gimmerson persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Gimmerson gets to his feet. Heysel looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Gimmerson throws a good cross that connects.
Gimmerson drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Heysel's head, knocking him out cold! Gimmerson is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

The fighters are pinned against the cage. Melendez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Rodriguez is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Melendez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rodriguez doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rodriguez manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Melendez is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rodriguez defends well. Melendez striking off his back but it's not causing Rodriguez any problems.

Melendez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rodriguez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Rodriguez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Melendez has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rodriguez has managed to get both his arms back between Melendez's legs - danger averted.
Rodriguez drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rodriguez jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Rodriguez wants to pass the guard but Melendez is keeping the position.
 Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Melendez misses with a takedown
and Rodriguez holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Melendez is breathing heavily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones thuds a left hand into Howlett's body. Howlett tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance.
