Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Rocca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Banner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rocca's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, ULTRAnumb by Blue Stahli. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tony Banner! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Banner lands a jab to the nose. Banner throws a right hand that Rocca ducks under and follows up with a left that Rocca also avoids with ease. Rocca is looking for a counter combo. Banner lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rocca circles away quickly and effectively. The crowd cheers as Rocca lands an impressive looking overhand right. Banner doesn't seem phased though. Rocca avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
As Banner tries to get set, Rocca tries to push him back and clinch up but Banner manages to avoid the attempt. Rocca steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Banner. Rocca seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Tony Banner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A combination from Banner does no damage. Rocca uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Banner.
Rocca went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Banner throws a combination. Rocca tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Xavier Rocca has been cut. Banner doesn't manage to clinch there - Rocca circles away.
Banner misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Rocca counters by moving into the clinch. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rocca pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Rocca keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Rocca on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Banner waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Rocca. Rocca throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Banner crashing down! Banner tries to stagger back to his feet but Rocca just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Banner asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Xavier Rocca! In his post fight interview, Xavier Rocca started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

13 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Steve Cox! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. A slow jab from Hayabusa misses its intended target. Cox steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Hayabusa. Cox throws a hook but Hayabusa blocks it. Hayabusa swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Hayabusa looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Cox has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hayabusa gets caught napping as Cox dives in and scores a takedown. Hayabusa manages to retain guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cox throwing strikes but missing. Cox looking to pass the guard. Hayabusa pulls Cox in close to prevent any damage. Cox with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Hayabusa working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cox. Cox throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cox accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Cox throwing strikes from guard but Hayabusa blocks nicely. Hayabusa avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Cox missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Cox with a flurry of punches that miss. Cox throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hayabusa works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Cox trying to control but Hayabusa is working from the bottom.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. A head kick misses from Cox. Hayabusa attempts a counter takedown but Cox avoids it well and moves away. Cox tries to clinch but Hayabusa moves out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big right from Hayabusa misses. Cox looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Cox throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hayabusa works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Cox stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hayabusa swivels though and keeps the full guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cox accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hayabusa keeping moving, preventing Cox from controlling successfully. Hayabusa wants to sweep here but Cox controlling him for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hayabusa preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Hayabusa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Cox throws an elbow that misses. Hayabusa uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Cox's guard. Nice move by Hayabusa!
Hayabusa is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Cox is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Cox has escaped and now he's on top! Hayabusa is trying to control the position from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steve Cox dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cox. Hayabusa does a little dance to reset his feet. Cox throws a sloppy head kick and Hayabusa moves out of range easily. Hayabusa drops down looking for a counter takedown but Cox sprawls and moves away. Hayabusa keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hayabusa appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Hayabusa scores with a jab. Cox acknowledges it with a nod of the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cox lands a high kick!

Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hayabusa is pressing down on Cox's thigh, looking to free his foot. Cox is holding on for now. Hayabusa seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cox does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steve Cox showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Hayabusa dives in and grabs Cox's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cox pushes down on Hayabusa's head and hops out. Cox feints the counter takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Akira Hayabusa. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cox tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hayabusa swats him away and circles back towards the center. Cox tries a low kick but Hayabusa avoids it. Cox moves into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hayabusa ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hayabusa no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Hayabusa holds on and takes a little breather. Cox working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Cox trying to control but Hayabusa is working from the bottom. Cox might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hayabusa haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Steve Cox is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Akira Hayabusa. Well Cox has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Beaumont has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Johns is landing a low percentage of strikes. A combination from Johns does no damage. A shot to the liver by Minasian. Beautiful body shot. A nice combination there by Crane.
Crane lands a jab-cross combination. A punch combination from Crane misses. Minasian lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Minasian dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Crane. That did some damage! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Minasian lands a left and a right that send Crane crashing to the mat, dazed. Minasian thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Ichabod Crane has been cut. Crane lands with a right hand. Minasian circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Crane to the canvas! Crane doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Minasian keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Aaron's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Eanes needs to keep his hands up - Aaron had a free shot at his head there. Aaron gets off balance looking for a body kick and Eanes connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Eanes throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Eanes cracks Aaron with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Eanes has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Aaron to stand back up!
Aaron is rocked! Eanes darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Aaron's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Eanes before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Tommy Mayor's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mayor throws a lazy right hand but Meikalainen sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Meikalainen looks for the body kick but Mayor saw that one coming. Meikalainen moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Mayor throws a quick inside leg kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matti Meikalainen dominated that round. The cut man is working on Tommy Mayor's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Teló's guard. Fokin passes to side control. Fokin wants to control but Teló is keeping him busy. Fokin cracks Teló with an elbow. That is naaassty.
