Shaman kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Shaman's Dream. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shaman throws a poor cross that misses
and Cider cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Shaman throws a leg kick that misses. Shaman comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Shaman tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cider was well out of range. Poor timing from Shaman. Shaman throws the left hand but Cider avoids the punch easily. A decent looking cross lands there for Cider . Shaman gets cracked there but stands up to it.

That sent Shaman stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Jab from Shaman. Shaman gets a clinch. Cider misses with a hook from the clinch. He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Cider has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Cider and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Shaman's jab looks to have found its range, popping Cider under the eye. Shaman misses the body punch and Cider counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Shaman lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Cider takes one to the chin there. Shaman closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Cider is looking for a sweep. Shaman trying to control the position but Cider is working away. Cider tries to improve position but can't.

Shaman wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Cider , who protects the arm well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shaman swings around for an armbar but Cider sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Shaman's guard. Shaman is trying to control the position but Cider postures up. Cider wants to control from the top but Shaman keeps moving. Shaman looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Cider wants to pass the guard but Shaman is keeping the position. Shaman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cider can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Shaman not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Shaman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cider gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Cider is stalling in the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Blind Shaman dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Blind Shaman's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Cider connects with a nice short shot to Shaman's temple. Shaman wants to control but Cider is keeping busy.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Blind Shaman. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Shaman, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garcia drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Crimson wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Garcia trying to control but Crimson is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Garcia is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Crimson keeping full guard, as Garcia tries to pass. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Garcia seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Garcia lands a lovely overhand right. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Garcia throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! That looked like it hurt. Oh Boudain is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Boudain throws a leg kick that is checked and Halo counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Boudain out cold! What a finish! Halo is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gullit missing with a left hand there. Oketch was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Oketch catches Gullit with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Gullit scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Gullit moves into range and connects with a jab. Gullit throws a series of punches but Oketch avoids them all with ease. Oketch drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Oketch is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gullit sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Gullit has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Vicious Striking in the buildup to the fight. Oketch takes a swing at Gullit's ribcage but misses. Gullit swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Gullit connects with a looping right hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Oketch moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Ruud Gullit has been cut. Oketch bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Gullit's head. Oketch cracks Gullit with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

and Oketch counters with a slapping leg kick. Oh Gullit is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Oketch scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Oketch has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Gullit drops his hands momentarily. Oketch doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Gullit staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Gullit doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
