I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Benedikt Iskandar was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Panado changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Adams tries to avoid it but Panado manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Adams to the ground. Adams escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Steamboat shoots in looking for a takedown but Meridius manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Steamboat's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Meridius throws out a counter right but Steamboat avoids it with no problem.
Meridius connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Meridius turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Steamboat fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Meridius to the ground. Steamboat is now in Meridius's guard.
Steamboat tries to free his leg and advance position but Meridius is retaining full guard.
Steamboat passes Meridius's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Meridius tries to roll over but Steamboat keeps him under control.

We've been hearing that Steamboat has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Steamboat lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Meridius down.

Meridius is looking for a sweep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Steamboat lands a nice forearm strike.
Meridius tries to buck Steamboat off but Steamboat is having none of it.
Steamboat has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Steamboat with shots to the head and body - Meridius looks very uncomfortable down there.
Meridius is working to get back to half guard.
Steamboat is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Meridius can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Meridius is rocked!
Steamboat postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Meridius bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Steamboat and the fight is over!
