The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Echeverria lands a really nice looking cross but Yao seems unphased.
Sloppy strikes from Echeverria. Those never looked like landing. Yao moves in looking to clinch but Echeverria pushes him off. Yao tries to clinch but Echeverria moves out of range. Yao tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Echeverria is able to avoid easily. Yao throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Yao tries a low kick but Echeverria avoids it. Echeverria looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Echeverria swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Echeverria swats away the attempt to clinch by Yao. Echeverria follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Echeverria chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Yao tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Echeverria manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yao tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Echeverria paws at him with a jab and circles away. Echeverria takes it with a brutal technical knockout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bear goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Hill sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Hill looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Bear throws a right and a left that Hill avoids nicely. Bear blocks a head kick by Hill.
Bear misses with a kick to the body.
The crowd cheers as Hill lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bear doesn't seem phased though. Hill throws a sloppy head kick and Bear counters with a big 3 punch combo that drops Hill on his ass! Hill wobbles back to his feet half way through the count and though looking a bit dazed, the referee is going to allow the fight to continue! Bear throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bear catches Hill with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Hill forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Teddy Bear! Teddy Bear very nearly forgot to thank Sully's Bar & Grill amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alejandro staggers Ruiz with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Ruiz looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! Just in time and the ref is going to let the fight continue!
It looks like Juno Ruiz has been cut. Alejandro throws a right and a left that Ruiz avoids nicely. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Ruiz has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Alejandro plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Ruiz swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Ruiz face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Lebouer creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Lebouer's coach down at ReEvolution MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Lebouer's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Fresh breaks from the clinch.
Fresh dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lebouer. That did some damage! Fresh throws a body punch but Lebouer moves out of range. Fresh moves out of range of the strikes.

Fresh throws a head kick that misses. Fresh misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Boom! Lebouer lands a massive head kick that sends Fresh crashing into the ropes, followed by a classic face plant on the canvas! He's up to his knees but he's not going to beat the count - this one is all over! Lebouer is jumping around like a lunatic, extatic with the win!

He's still conscious but the referee has seen enough as Tatsuhiko flops around uncontrollably and he's called an end to the fight! MacGregor jumps onto the ropes and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Gross.
