The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lee closes the distance and clinches.

Lee pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lee throws a jab when Hilgers was well out of range.
Hilgers attempts a counter takedown but Lee avoids it well and moves away.

Hilgers changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lee looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Lee tries to bench press Hilgers off him but Hilgers keeps the position.

Hilgers is trying to get an arm triangle but Lee is defending well.

Lee wants to control the position but that's not easy when your opponent is in side control! Hilgers seems to be going for some sort of submission here. Hard to say what - oh, it's a Brabo choke! He's got it! Lee is tapping! Wow, great finish!

Shudo throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Asaki on the side of the head.

It looked like Van was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Velasquez goes for a double leg but Van avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as Van continues to drive forward.
Van stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Van connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Velasquez's hands.
Velasquez takes a swing at Van 's ribcage but misses.
Van cracks Velasquez with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.

Van and Velasquez are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Van throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Velasquez into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Van knows it - he's on the ropes flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

Tremaine Van looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'We knew we'd probably get the win if we could get the clinch against the cage; I think most people will crumble when I start kneeing them in the head! Bring on the next opponent!'.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ru lands a big head kick that sends Dupp tumbling to the mat! Ru takes a step backwards and waves Dupp back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Dupp moves forwards but Ru connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Dupp is still on wobbly legs! Can Ru finish him?
Dupp looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Ru misses with a head kick.
Nice defenses there by Dupp.
Dupp throws out a loose jab but Ru uses good head movement to avoid it.
Sloppy strikes from Dupp. Those never looked like landing.
Chang Ru seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ru looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
