11 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Clay Matthews! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Matthews is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Tupper V.
It looks like Clay Matthews has been cut. Tupper V throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Matthews counter with a right hand.
It looks like Bobby Tupper V has been cut. Matthews misses the body punch and Tupper V counters with a lovely shot to the body. A right-left combo lands from Tupper V. Tupper V lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Tupper V's corner calls for a 1-2. Tupper V obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Tupper V misses with a series of wild punches.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A cross from Tupper V lands. Tupper V pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Matthews back to the cage. Tupper V follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tupper V tries a head kick but it misses.
Matthews looks like he wants to counter punch here. Tupper V takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Tupper V throws a chopping leg kick but Matthews manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Matthews slips a jab and a cross from Tupper V.
Matthews tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Sloppy strikes from Tupper V. Those never looked like landing. Matthews throws the kick towards the body but Tupper V avoids it. Matthews displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tupper V.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tupper V rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Matthews moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Matthews darts in and clinches Tupper V up against the cage. A right handed body shot lands from Matthews.
A nice left hand lands by Matthews.
Matthews pushes Tupper V back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Tupper V is looking for a takedown. Tupper V misses with a hook from the clinch. Matthews escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Matthews stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Matthews wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby Tupper V. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tupper V listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Tupper V misses with a looping right. A little jabbing left from Matthews on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Matthews sends Tupper V crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Matthews is motioning to the referee to let Tupper V up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Matthews looks to throw the jab but Tupper V is out of range. Tupper V throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Matthews lands a big right hand that sends Tupper V crashing to the mat! Matthews stays standing though and waves Tupper V back to his feet!
Tupper V is rocked! Tupper V wants to slow Matthews down by chopping away at his legs. Oh Tupper V is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Tupper V misses with an uppercut. Tupper V seems to have got his legs back now. Matthews lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Tupper V falls backwards - clearly groggy! Matthews dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ap Nudd looks to land a combination. Reynolds sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Ap Nudd checks a leg kick. Reynolds ducks right into an uppercut from Ap Nudd. Ap Nudd throws a head kick but Reynolds moves out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Reynolds. Ap Nudd does a little dance to reset his feet. Ap Nudd darts in and clinches Reynolds up against the cage. Ap Nudd wants to break free but Reynolds has control.
A nice right hand lands inside from Ap Nudd. Reynolds lands with a right to the head. Ap Nudd manages to break the clinch.
Reynolds throws an overhand right that lands on Ap Nudd's shoulder, as Ap Nudd tries to avoid the shot. Ap Nudd misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
This has been an exciting period of action! The fight stays on the outside here - Ap Nudd looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Reynolds tries to counter with a takedown but Ap Nudd is quick to defend against it. Ap Nudd throws a lazy right hand but Reynolds sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Ap Nudd tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Reynolds was well out of range. Poor timing from Ap Nudd. Ap Nudd drops his hands momentarily and Reynolds takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ap Nudd throws a body shot but no joy. Reynolds is looking for a counter combo. A left lands for Ap Nudd. Reynolds blocks a head kick by Ap Nudd.
Reynolds doesn't succeed with the takedown and Ap Nudd counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Ap Nudd lands a big head kick that sends Reynolds tumbling to the mat! Ap Nudd takes a step backwards and waves Reynolds back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Malcolm Reynolds has been cut. Reynolds scores with a decent looking hook.
It looks like Edern Ap Nudd has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ap Nudd cracks Reynolds with a hook to the temple - Reynolds is on wobbly legs here! Ap Nudd swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Reynolds falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Ap Nudd wins by TKO!

A very excited looking Edern Ap Nudd made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Malone swings for the body but Jiggle moves out of range.
Malone rushes Jiggle and presses him up against the cage. Malone is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Jiggle can't break the clinch.

Malone dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Malone is looking to take this one to the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Malone has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Jiggle after a bit of a struggle. Jiggle Jiggle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sylvester Malone. Malone is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Jiggle pulls him back up using the underhooks. Jiggle prevents the takedown attempt.

Jiggle misses with a lunging right hand
and Malone counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Malone keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jiggle. Jiggle getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Malone lands with an uppercut that bounces Jiggle off the cage and back into range. Jiggle throws a lazy body kick and Malone counters with a left and a right that stings Jiggle. Jiggle slips a straight right by Malone. Jiggle misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Malone throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jiggle. Malone misses with a low kick as Jiggle jumps back. No joy there for Malone, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
And Jiggle counters with a quick kick to the body but Malone blocks it. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jiggle tries to land a front kick but Malone steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jiggle throws a jab when Malone was well out of range. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Malone! But no joy. A looping hook to the body misses from Malone. Jiggle does a little dance to reset his feet. Malone goes for a double leg but Jiggle avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jiggle continues to drive forward. Malone works Jiggle's body with a nice hook. Malone closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jiggle did well to prevent Malone getting side control. Jiggle wants to get back to his feet. Jiggle is looking for a sweep. Malone is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Jiggle is working hard here to advance position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Malone blocks the strikes from Jiggle.
Jiggle has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Malone is working away from the top position though. Malone is looking to stall here but Jiggle recovers full guard. Malone lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Malone slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Jiggle is trying to improve his position. Malone trying to control the position but Jiggle is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Malone creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Malone throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Jiggle works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Jiggle is trying to maintain the position but Malone is very close to passing his half guard. Jiggle wants to control the action here but instead Malone manages to pass to full mount! Malone prevents Jiggle from getting the reversal. Malone working away from the top, dropping strikes. Malone with a couple of short strikes. Malone lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Malone dominating with strikes here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jiggle throws a hook but Malone avoids it easily. Malone is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jiggle sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Malone uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jiggle. Malone appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Malone darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Jiggle has a hand on Malone's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Malone takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Malone dominating with strikes here. Malone lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Malone has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Malone wants to control the pace but Jiggle is squirming around nicely. Jiggle is trying desperately to improve position. Malone raining down hammerfists from mount.

Gomes throws a quick inside leg kick. Landeverde lands a head shot. Landeverde connects with a body shot. Gomes uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Landeverde. Landeverde avoids the body shot from Gomes.
Landeverde needs to keep his hands up - Gomes had a free shot at his head there. Gomes dives in for a single leg takedown but Landeverde sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Gomes feints and then cracks Landeverde's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Landeverde down. Gomes connects with a body shot that sends Landeverde's belly button to the back. Landeverde has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Landeverde listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Landeverde throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Landeverde keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Vicente tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Freely wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Vicente is trying to control Freely's posture but Freely avoids it. Vicente tries to bench press Freely off him but Freely keeps the position. Freely is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Vicente is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Vicente tries to control but Freely manages to take his back. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vicente is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Yamada is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Yamada throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Jack Parsons has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Parsons wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Parsons tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Yamada paws at him with a jab and circles away. Parsons has taken the fight to the clinch.

Yamada shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Parsons napping and manages to drive through into side control! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Yamada moves into full mount! Yamada wants to control the pace but Parsons is squirming around nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Parsons wants to control but Yamada is having none of it. Yamada looking to control and managing it successfully. Keiichi Yamada is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Parsons is desperately trying to improve his position but Yamada has a good base and remains in mount. Parsons manages to work a leg through to get back to half guard here. Good work there by Parsons, under a barage of strikes from Yamada.
Yamada is just content to waste time from the top position. Parsons takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Parsons had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Yamada defends it easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Keiichi Yamada showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Yamada, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Aristides Leopoldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucifer Satan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leopoldo comes into the arena with Carmina Burana - Carl Orff blaring out of the sound system. Satan is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Disciple. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leopoldo moves out of range as Satan strikes. Leopoldo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Satan as he avoids it easily. Satan throws a jab when Leopoldo was well out of range. Satan looks to land a combination. Leopoldo sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Pedro Aristides Leopoldo has been cut. Satan lands a nice shot to the body.
Satan scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Leopoldo swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Satan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Satan throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Leopoldo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Leopoldo is breathing heavily. Satan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Satan is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Leopoldo with a body shot. Satan avoids the body shot from Leopoldo.
Satan listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Satan scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Leopoldo doesn't seem bothered though. Leopoldo on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Leopoldo backs away from a small jab... but Satan lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Leopoldo crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Satan with a spectacular finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Lucifer Satan! Lucifer Satan very nearly forgot to thank Arcticus University: London amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name.
