The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Diaz. Wilson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Wilson defending well as Diaz loads up on a big left hand.
As Diaz backs off Wilson throws a huge counter combo but Diaz manages to avoid it all.
Wilson staying out of range there.
Wilson lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Wilson lands a jab-cross combination.
Diaz tries to close the distance and clinch but Wilson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Wilson takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Danga de danga de dang - Wilson scores with a four punch combination!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Diaz changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Wilson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Wilson throws a wild hook but Diaz just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Wilson gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Diaz raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

In his post fight interview, Nathan Diaz started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Pervis misses with the body kick

and Jonas counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jonas.

Pervis working for a triangle but Jonas defends it easily.
Pervis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Pervis has his foot on Jonas's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jonas works his way back into a safe position though.

Pervis had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jonas defends it easily.

Jonas got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pervis has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jonas has managed to get both his arms back between Pervis's legs - danger averted.

Bas is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Krupok has his hands clasped together but Bas extends and breaks Krupok's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Bas.

Bravo drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Potter defends it well.

Bravo is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Potter is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Bravo is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Potter looks calm but he's in trouble here. Bravo gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Potter is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Bravo lets go of the hold and Potter can pop his arm back in it's socket.
