The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White Iv keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
White Iv uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Petoyanka. White Iv shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Petoyanka defends it nicely. White Iv has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Rabid Dog in the buildup to the fight. White Iv uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. A nice inside leg kick there by White Iv. That's going to slow Petoyanka down. Petoyanka tries to sprawl but White Iv drives through with a takedown into half guard. White Iv thows a huge punch but Petoyanka dodges it nicely.

enabling Attela to counter with a crisp jab. Attela doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. A lazy left from Attela finds it's target. Attela displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Armstrong throws out the jab. Attela swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Attela stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Armstrong is rocked! Attela's corner calls for a 1-2. Attela obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Oh Armstrong is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Attela pounces like a tiger and cracks Armstrong with a vicious hook! Armstrong is down but not out! Attela follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hojackin throws a big shot that misses. A quick step to the side and Sidious tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Sidious slips a straight right by Hojackin. A jab from Hojackin misses. Sidious just misses with a punch to the body.
Hojackin changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Nice defenses there by Sidious. Sidious seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Hojackin moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Hojackin slips a jab from Sidious. Sidious throws a body punch but Hojackin moves out of range. Sidious gets tackled into the cage by Hojackin. Hojackin maintains the clinch. Hojackin is trying to break the clinch but Sidious is controlling him. A head punch blocked on the inside by Hojackin. Sidious working some nice short punches in the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sidious working aggressively here.

Sidious throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Hojackin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sidious appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Hojackin moves in looking to clinch but Sidious pushes him off. A momentary lapse in concentration from Sidious enables Hojackin to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sidious manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Sidious has control of Hojackin's left arm, preventing Hojackin from doing any damage. Sidious trying to keep a closed guard but Hojackin is proving a slippery customer.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sidious tries to get out of the position. Hojackin trying to control the position from guard on top but Sidious is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hojackin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Sidious working a defensive guard here.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Sidious fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hojackin manages to avoid it. Sidious throws a looping overhand right but Hojackin ducks down to avoid it. A shot to the body from Sidious misses and Hojackin counters with a lovely straight right hand! A left lands for Sidious. Sidious cracks a nice hook into Hojackin's ribs. Sidious gets caught flat footed, as Hojackin shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Sidious controlling Hojackin's posture. Hojackin slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Hojackin slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Sidious is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hojackin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sidious was well out of range. Poor timing from Hojackin. Nice uppercut lands for Sidious. That snapped Hojackin's head back.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hojackin shoots for a takedown but Sidious saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Hojackin might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Sidious smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Nice defenses there by Hojackin. Hojackin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Let's see what he's got on the mat. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hojackin being controlled here momentarily. Hojackin content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Sidious slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. David Hojackin has got the better of the ground game so far.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zinn fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Marshall avoids it really well and circles away. Marshall is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Marshall seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Zinn tries to keep at a distance but Marshall has taken the fight into the clinch. Marshall lands a shoulder strike. Zinn's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Marshall lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Zinn backwards. Zinn tries to pull guard but Marshall holds him up against the cage and eventually Zinn drops back down to his feet.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Treestump tries to pass to full mount but Herring defends it. Herring is trying to get back to full guard. Herring wants to control but Treestump is keeping busy.

It's a sloppy attempt though and Treestump jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Herring is looking to cinch up a triangle. Treestump throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Herring's body to avoid the submission. Herring has instead reached around Treestump's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Herring arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Gracie is looking for a sweep. Belcher is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Belcher is figuring out what he wants to do next. Belcher landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Belcher passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Gracie! Belcher landing shots from mount. Belcher is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Gracie can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Potter moves into the clinch. Potter lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Lobtov. Potter lands a left hand.
