 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Viscount throws a low kick but Fighter avoids it. Fighter swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Viscount is looking to counter the offense by Fighter and move into the clinch. Viscount is looking to clinch but Fighter is avoiding it.
Fighter replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Viscount blocks it well. Viscount tries to close the distance and clinch but Fighter swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Fighter takes a swing at Viscount's ribcage but misses. Fighter throws a right hand that Viscount ducks under and follows up with a left that Viscount also avoids with ease. Viscount wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Viscount. Fighter connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
 It looks like Dementri Viscount has been cut. Fighter lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter tries to bum rush Viscount with a series of wild strikes but Viscount uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Viscount is defended easily by Fighter. Fighter tries to land a front kick but Viscount steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Fighter is trying to break the clinch but Viscount is controlling him. The referee is keeping an eye on Fighter - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nakanishi is defended easily by Campion.
Campion shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Nakanishi's guard. Nakanishi looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Nakanishi is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Campion throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Nakanishi works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Nakanishi looking to hit a scissor sweep but Campion is one step ahead there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nakanishi not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kuusi tries to score a power double leg takedown but Beefcake sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kuusi somewhat. Kuusi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kuusi fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Beefcake sprawls well initially but Kuusi persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Kuusi throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Kuusi thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Beefcake's head. Kuusi lands strikes from half guard. Beefcake gets full guard. Kuusi connects with a couple of short punches. Kuusi stands up over Beefcake, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kuusi looking to pass the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
