6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, David Bernside! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 1, fighting out of London, Ricky Ray! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bernside lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Bernside definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Ray throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ray swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Bernside tried to counter with a leg kick but Ray avoided it. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Bernside. A thudding body kick lands there by Bernside!
Ray rushes Bernside and presses him up against the cage. Ray lands a shot to the body. Ray blocks a body shot from Bernside. Bernside has a couple of punches blocked by Ray.
Ray tries for a takedown. No joy.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ray trying to control the position but instead, Bernside has worked for underhooks and has pushed Ray into the cage. Bernside moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bernside gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Ray goes for a double leg but Bernside avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bernside continues to drive forward. Bernside scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Bernside takes a swing at Ray's ribcage but misses. Bernside staying out of range there. Ray connects with a body shot that sends Bernside's belly button to the back. David Bernside is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bernside slips under a jab from Ray. Bernside takes a swing at Ray's ribcage but misses. Ray connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The fight stays on the outside here - Bernside looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Bernside uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ray. A big left from Ray misses. Bernside thuds his shin into the meat of Ray's side. Bernside throws a body kick that misses. Ray just misses with a punch to the body.
Bernside moves into range and clinches up with Ray. Ray struggles to land a body shot inside as Bernside controls his hands.

Bernside swings wildly with an uppercut but Ray uses good head movement to avoid it. Ray tries to work over Bernside's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ray missing with a left hand there. Bernside was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. It looked like Bernside was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Ray. Ray chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bernside can pounce on him.

Ray is now in Bernside's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Ray in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Bernside seems keen to control Ray's posture.

Ray trying to control but Bernside is working from the bottom. Bernside is trying to control the position but Ray postures up. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ray wants to control from the top but Bernside keeps moving.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Ray gets a takedown into half guard. Ray has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Bernside is trying to get back to full guard. Ricky Ray has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ray wants to free his trapped foot but Bernside is holding on for dear life with his legs. Bernside is not content to let Ray control the position. Bernside regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Ray. Bernside manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ray manages to get himself to full guard.

Ray keeping moving, preventing Bernside from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Ray is trying to keep Bernside in close.

Glover uses the oldest trick in the book to send Filipovic tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Glover is absolutely delighted - when Filipovic wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

and Hanari counters with a shoot takedown. Brandon fights it but they end up in guard.

Hanari throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Brandon works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hanari trying to move into half guard but instead Brandon has managed to sweep! Brandon throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Brandon is working Hanari over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hanari is on top in guard.

Kenny Brandon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hanari seems to be working for a kimura but Brandon defends the submission attempt. Hanari thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Brandon closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Hanari wants to get back to full guard. Noritada Hanari is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Brandon trying to control from half guard but Hanari is working away. Brandon is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hanari defends it well. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that's the end of the fight! Noritada Hanari comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hanari has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vega swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Vega ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Butcher moves away. Butcher blocks a jab. Butcher lands a slapping body shot.
Butcher lands a nice shot that snaps Vega's head back.
Vega throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Vega misses with a left hand and Butcher connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Butcher moves into range and connects with a jab. Butcher misses with the combination.
Butcher ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vega moves away. Butcher throws a head kick that misses. Vega swats away the attempt to clinch by Butcher. Butcher jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Butcher is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Vega is controlling him well. Butcher knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Butcher pushes Vega away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Vega gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Vega tries to advance to mount but Butcher denies him. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd cheers as Butcher lands an impressive looking overhand right. Vega doesn't seem phased though. Butcher tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Vega was well out of range. Poor timing from Butcher. Vega is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Vega avoids the body shot from Butcher.

Butcher works the jab nicely. Whack! Butcher lands a heavy head kick that drops Vega. The ref tackles Butcher to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Vega was done.

Bobby Butcher very nearly forgot to thank GREEN!160 amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baako fails in his attempt to clinch. Baako misses with a takedown attempt and ONeil counters with a stiff right hand. We've been informed that ONeil has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Baako takes a swing at ONeil's ribcage but misses. ONeil circles away from the clinch attempt.
ONeil feints a counter leg kick. Baako throws a wild combination but nothing lands. ONeil misses with a body kick. Baako tries for a takedown but ONeil circles away easily and ONeil connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. ONeil uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Baako.
