The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fawkes avoids it really well and circles away.
Fawkes bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Smith's head.

It looks like Jay Smith has been cut.
Smith tries for a takedown but Fawkes sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Smith shoots and misses
and Fawkes counters with a stiff right hand.

Adams throws a series of punches but Cox avoids them all with ease.
Cox drops down looking for a counter takedown but Adams sprawls and moves away.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tino Kallio will probably get the nod.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartwright dives in and grabs Aragon's left leg, looking for a takedown. Aragon pushes down on Cartwright's head and hops out.

Cartwright has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Cartwright shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Cartwright was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Aragon is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Cartwright asserts his dominance and retains side control.
