 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Op shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Barat sprawls well. Barat wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Op gets slowly back to his feet. Barat misses with a looping right. Barat lands a jab to the nose. Barat uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Op.
Barat lands with a nice combination. Op backs away looking to recover. Barat misses with a few strikes there.
Jab by Op. Op misses with a takedown attempt - Barat sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Op tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Barat paws at him with a jab and circles away. Op is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! West scores with a nice right hand.
Hais looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? West is fending him off so far but Hais persists. Nope, West circles away and we're back to standing. West stuffs the takedown attempt from Hais. Hais gets slowly back to his feet. Hais looks to land a right hand but West moved out of range. Hais fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Hais closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hais lands in his opponent's guard. Hais loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Hais has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Hais throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as West works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from West! West staying calm. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

West decides to stand back up. West steps back and let's Hais get back to his feet. Hais takes a jab right on the kisser.
West takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Hais shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts West as he jumps to the side. Adam West has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Philip Hais. A big left from West misses. Hais takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. West throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hais sees it coming and avoids it easily. Adam West seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cole lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Cole slips a straight right by man. A cross from Cole lands. Cole tries to clinch up. Cole is looking to clinch but man is avoiding it.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. A swing and a miss from Cole. sparka man has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! man needs to keep his hands up - Cole had a free shot at his head there.
And that's the end of the fight! Hank Cole showed his dominance in that final round. Well Cole has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Austin scoring well with a low kick there.

Austin fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Griifin on the side of the head. Griifin checks a leg kick. Griifin bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Austin tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Austin tries to move into range but Griifin moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Austin throws a leg kick and Griifin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. This has been an exciting period of action! Griifin takes one to the side of the head.

Austin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Griifin manages to avoid it. Austin walks into a jab. Austin connects with a good right hand that stumbles Griifin. Griifin doesn't succeed with the takedown and Griifin takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
