Chimal will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Rand swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Chimal.

It looks like Armando Chimal has been cut.
Rand lands a two punch combo.

Chimal takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chimal takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Rand lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Chimal is looking to close the distance but Rand sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Chimal crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Chimal is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
