Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Stevie West! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Oleg Korolyov! The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! West blocks the body kick.
That kick from Korolyov tenderised West's leg. West is trying to keep his angry face on. Korolyov throws a combination that misses and West counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. West misses with a wild body shot. Korolyov tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. West throws a nice outside leg kick. West scores with a body shot.
Korolyov takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Korolyov throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. West was covering up waiting for the punch and Korolyov finishes the takedown easily into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Korolyov landing with the ground and pound. Korolyov stands up over West, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Korolyov throws an elbow that misses. West uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Korolyov's guard. Nice move by West!

 That's one minute gone in the round. Korolyov utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Korolyov keeping moving, preventing West from controlling successfully. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Korolyov can do anything to dispel that myth. Korolyov has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Korolyov keeping moving, preventing West from controlling successfully. Korolyov trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. West passes Korolyov's left leg - he's now in half guard. West could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. West throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. West is trying to control the action in half guard but Korolyov is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. West has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. West trying to control from Korolyov's half guard. Korolyov has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Korolyov trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. West content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Korolyov wants to sweep but no luck. Korolyov is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Korolyov seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but West does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. West regains full guard. Nicely done. Korolyov must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
West is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. West preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Korolyov throws an elbow that misses. West uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Korolyov's guard. Nice move by West!
West trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. West is looking to work some ground and pound but Korolyov has wrist control. West trying to control the position from guard on top but Korolyov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Korolyov is controlling West's posture.

Oh no, disaster for Korolyov there! West lands a big elbow. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Stevie West dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
West shoots in looking for a takedown. Korolyov tries to sprawl out of it but West keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Korolyov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Korolyov tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Korolyov decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. West on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Korolyov with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. West gets full guard.
West is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Korolyov defends well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Korolyov postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. West is pulling down on Korolyov's head to control his posture.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Korolyov keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of West's head. West avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Korolyov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. West swivels though and keeps the full guard. West is trying to control the position but Korolyov postures up. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Korolyov's corner is telling him to maintain position.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. A decent looking cross lands there for Korolyov.
Korolyov fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging West to the ground. Korolyov is now in West's guard. West utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Korolyov trying to control the position from guard on top but West is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Korolyov is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Korolyov wants to control from the top but West keeps moving. Korolyov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. West is keeping the position for now. Korolyov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with West. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Korolyov trying to control but West is working from the bottom. Korolyov working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. West trying to control the position.
Korolyov won't allow West to sweep him here.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Korolyov scoring with punches to the head and body. Korolyov distracts West with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Korolyov postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Korolyov scoring with punches to the head and body. West wants to sweep here but Korolyov controlling him for the moment. Korolyov controls from within his opponent's guard. West keeping moving, preventing Korolyov from controlling successfully.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Korolyov pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. West lands a leg kick that knocks Korolyov off balance momentarily. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Oleg Korolyov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Korolyov closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Korolyov tries to pass to full mount but West defends it. Korolyov is taking a breather. West says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Korolyov seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Korolyov trying to control from half guard but West is working away. West makes his way to full guard. A much better position for West. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. West trying to keep a closed guard but Korolyov is proving a slippery customer.

 That's one minute gone in the round. West controls Korolyov momentarily but Korolyov frees himself. West seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Korolyov with a nice head shot there. Korolyov stands up over West, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Korolyov lands a couple of elbows. Korolyov working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of West's head. West throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Korolyov trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Korolyov content to stall in guard here.

Korolyov got a little sloppy there for a moment and West has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Korolyov has managed to get both his arms back between West's legs - danger averted.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Korolyov throws a big elbow that misses. Korolyov is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Korolyov looking to sit in guard and control but West gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
West pushes down on Korolyov's leg and manages to get into half guard. Korolyov is trying to get back to full guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! Oleg Korolyov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Korolyov has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from McCarthy. Grivas does a little dance to reset his feet. A head kick from Grivas lands but McCarthy takes it in his stride. McCarthy connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. McCarthy takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

and McCarthy counters with a crisp one two that drops Grivas! McCarthy thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Grivas to his feet! Grivas is in big trouble!
 Grivas is rocked! Grivas fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt McCarthy. Grivas is still on wobbly legs! Can McCarthy finish him? A good leg kick by Grivas. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McCarthy throws a pinpoint strike between Grivas's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Grivas crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and McCarthy scores a great knockout victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Redser McCarthy! Redser McCarthy very nearly forgot to thank Sully's Bar & Grill amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.

Pete L. Juice dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Payne misses with a body kick. It looked like Juice was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Payne. Payne fails to land the takedown. Juice works Payne's body with a nice hook. Juice avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Juice moves in looking to clinch but Payne pushes him off. Payne tries to close the distance and clinch but Juice swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Payne drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Payne uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Juice. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Payne ducks under a wild hook from Juice. Juice scores with a jab to the body. Payne moves away from the strike by Juice. Despite the aggression on Payne's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Juice paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Nice shot by Juice.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Payne throws out a leg kick but Juice moves out of range and Payne only half commits. Pete L. Juice is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Juice cracks Payne with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Payne dives in for a single leg takedown but Juice sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Juice changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Juice jabs Payne right on the nose. Payne blinks but takes it well. Juice misses with a lunging right hand
and Payne counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Payne. Juice tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Payne's elbow. Payne softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Juice lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. A head punch blocked on the inside by Payne. Juice doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Payne doesn't succeed with the takedown and Payne takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Pete L. Juice has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stryker Payne. Payne is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Payne gets in close and instigates a clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Juice stalling in the clinch but Payne improves position. Juice lands a hook to the side of the head. Juice is trying to force a seperation but Payne has the dominant position. Payne keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Juice's efforts to push away. Juice tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Payne's elbow. Juice wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Payne is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Juice gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Juice goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Juice slaps away a takedown attempt from Payne, before circling back to the center of the mat. Stryker Payne is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Juice connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. The fight stays on the outside here - Payne looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Payne takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Pete L. Juice is winning the standup battle so far. Payne shoots in looking for a takedown but Juice manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Payne's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Juice throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Payne sees it coming and avoids it easily. Juice connects with a looping right hand.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Juice connects with a crisp jab. Juice lands with a straight right. Payne didn't see that one coming. Payne blocks a jab. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Pete L. Juice dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Juice waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Payne. Juice throws a lazy right hand but Payne sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. And Payne tries to counter it with a takedown but Juice pushes his down on his head and steps out. Payne swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Juice looks to score with a jab to the body but Payne is just out of range. Payne darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
 It looks like Pete L. Juice has been cut. Payne throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Juice. Payne gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Juice counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Payne closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Payne misses with an elbow over the top. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Payne drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Payne's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Payne takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Payne looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Juice throws a body punch but Payne moves out of range. Payne fails to land the takedown. A little feinted left hand from Juice on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Pete L. Juice has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stryker Payne.
Payne drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Payne takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Juice keeping full guard, as Payne tries to pass. Juice is trying to control the position but Payne postures up. Payne engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Juice is trying to keep Payne in close.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Payne's corner is telling him to maintain position.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Payne gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Juice. Payne tries for a takedown but Juice circles away easily and Juice counters with a lovely shot to the body. Juice changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Juice defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Payne. Payne takes one to the chin there. Payne slips under a jab. No luck with that takedown attempt from Payne. A quick step to the side and Juice tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Nice body punch from Juice. Juice uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. And that's the end of the fight! Pete L. Juice showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Juice, winning every round. Will the judges agree?  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ysengrin lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Alderson at a distance.
Alderson pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Alderson misses the body punch letting Ysengrin counter with a right hand. Ysengrin moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Alderson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Alderson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ysengrin was well out of range. Poor timing from Alderson. Ysengrin thuds his shin into the meat of Alderson's side. Alderson misses with a straight right. Ysengrin swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Ysengrin drops Alderson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Alderson looks back up at him and smiles so Ysengrin waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
This has been an exciting period of action! Alderson misses with a left hand and Ysengrin counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circle momentarily. Holiday darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Jacks throws a jab when Holiday was well out of range. Holiday pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Jacks back to the cage. Holiday follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Holiday comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Jacks misses the shot to the body. It looked like Holiday was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Jacks. John Henry Holiday seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jacks throws a lazy uppercut
and Holiday connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Holiday misses with a looping left. Nice jab there from Jacks. The crowd cheers as Holiday lands an impressive looking overhand right. Jacks doesn't seem phased though. Horrible takedown attempt by Jacks or perhaps it was just good defense by Holiday, which made it look bad. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Holiday fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jacks manages to avoid it. Holiday connects with a nice looking jab.
Holiday's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Holiday duly obliges. Jacks rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Holiday counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Holiday scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Holiday fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jacks looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Jacks uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Holiday.
Jacks ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Holiday moves away. Jacks is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Jacks shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Jacks was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Jacks thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Holiday is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Jacks has hold of Holiday's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Holiday seems comfortable defending it but Jacks has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Holiday is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Holiday is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Jacks couldn't care less - he's delighted!
