The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sabah Nur misses with a looping left. Ysengrin looks like he wants to counter punch here. Sabah Nur dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Sabah Nur has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Sabah Nur there as he acknowledges the shot. Sabah Nur misses the shot to the body. Sloppy strikes from Sabah Nur. Those never looked like landing. Ysengrin misses with the combination.
Sabah Nur defending well as Ysengrin loads up on a big left hand. Ysengrin connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Nice straight punches there by Ysengrin. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Ysengrin. Sabah Nur thows a left - swing and a miss! Ysengrin swinging wildly here.
Artur Ysengrin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ysengrin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sabah Nur moves out of range and avoids them all easily. It looked like Sabah Nur was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Ysengrin. Sabah Nur looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ysengrin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ysengrin throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Sabah Nur misses the body punch letting Ysengrin counter with a right hand. Jab from Ysengrin. Sabah Nur connects with a solid leg kick. Ysengrin has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Ysengrin misses with a shot to the body and Sabah Nur counters with a slapping leg kick. Ysengrin swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Ysengrin cracks Sabah Nur with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Sabah Nur lands a nice shot to the body.
Sabah Nur throws a hook to the side of Ysengrin's head but Ysengrin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Sabah Nur lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Ysengrin with a nice cross. Sabah Nur moves forwards but Ysengrin connects with a nice, crisp jab. Ysengrin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sabah Nur.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sabah Nur scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Artur Ysengrin has been cut. Ysengrin swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Sabah Nur counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Ysengrin displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sabah Nur throws out the jab. No joy there for Sabah Nur, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eaton walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Donk. Ballinger catches Eaton right on the button with a cross. A swing and a miss from Ballinger. Ballinger throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Malmsteen misses with a short punch on the inside. Malmsteen keeps control of Nahtic as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Malmsteen misses with the head strike.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Gangster shoots in for a double leg but Brewer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Brewer. Brewer lands a head kick!
Brewer cracks the inside of The Gangster's front leg. The Gangster takes the fight into the clinch. The Gangster has picked Brewer up - he's going for a ride! The Gangster dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Brewer makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Brewer. Brewer lands a nice leg kick that just misses The Gangster's sensitive parts. Brewer lands with a kick to the temple. The Gangster shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" The Gangster shoots in for a takedown but Brewer shows good takedown defense. Brewer darts in and clinches The Gangster up against the cage. Brewer struggles to land a body shot inside as The Gangster controls his hands.

The Gangster has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Brewer uses from the top position. Brewer wants to pass the guard but The Gangster is keeping the position. Brewer throws a big elbow that misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The Gangster is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Brewer defends well. Brewer trying to control the position from guard on top but The Gangster is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks The Gangster with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The Gangster is trying to stand back up but Brewer is controlling him

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Brewer not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The Gangster wants to improve his position but Brewer is controlling well.
Brewer thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Brewer not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The Gangster is trying to maintain the position but Brewer is very close to passing his half guard. Brewer is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that The Gangster can do to turn this around? Brewer perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. The Gangster misses with a combination
and Brewer counters with a nice low kick that buckles The Gangster's knee momentarily. The Gangster takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Brewer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by The Gangster. The Gangster feints the counter takedown.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Gangster fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Brewer, pushing him back against the cage. Brewer fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
The Gangster gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Brewer.
Brewer doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
The Gangster jumps guard but Brewer stands there with The Gangster around his waist. The Gangster gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
The Gangster jumps guard and drags Brewer to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Brewer wants to control from the top but The Gangster keeps moving. The Gangster is pulling down on Brewer's head. It's preventing any offense from Brewer, at least for the moment. The Gangster bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Brewer's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brewer keeping moving, preventing The Gangster from controlling successfully. The Gangster pushing down on Brewer's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Brewer is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of The Gangster's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take The Gangster's back! Brewer keeps control of the position easily here as The Gangster tries to buck him off.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Markovic tries to sprawl but Cox drives through with a takedown into half guard. Markovic makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Cox shoots in looking for a takedown but Markovic manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cox's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Markovic buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
