23 - 31 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nunca Subestime O Palmeiras! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
39 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Maximus Scott! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Bruno Lombardi and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown attempt by O Palmeiras or perhaps it was just good defense by Scott, which made it look bad. O Palmeiras shoots in and bounces Scott off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. O Palmeiras distracts Scott with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. O Palmeiras stops Scott from standing up. O Palmeiras sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Scott's guard. O Palmeiras is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Scott reverses the position - he's now on top in O Palmeiras's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Scott wants to stand but O Palmeiras is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. O Palmeiras controlling the position. O Palmeiras lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. O Palmeiras loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. O Palmeiras prevents Scott from getting back to his feet. Scott working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from O Palmeiras. O Palmeiras wants to control from the top but Scott keeps moving. O Palmeiras won't allow Scott to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. O Palmeiras wants to pass the guard but Scott is keeping the position. O Palmeiras works over Scott with some ground and pound from guard. Scott is looking to stand up but O Palmeiras isn't so interested in that idea. O Palmeiras throws an elbow that misses. Scott uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in O Palmeiras's guard. Nice move by Scott! Scott wants to get up but he can't break O Palmeiras's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott trying to control the position from guard on top but O Palmeiras is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. O Palmeiras is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Scott leaves O Palmeiras with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. O Palmeiras is trying hard to land a takedown here. Scott sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nunca Subestime O Palmeiras. That's going to take a lot out of him. Scott misses with a hook. O Palmeiras ducked under it nicely. O Palmeiras seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Scott scores with a big left there. O Palmeiras feints and as Scott raises his hands in defense, O Palmeiras changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. O Palmeiras manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. This has been an exciting period of action! Scott wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but O Palmeiras has him pressed against the cage. O Palmeiras wants to take the fight to the mat but Scott manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. O Palmeiras is trying to drag Scott to the mat but Scott just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. O Palmeiras manages to break the clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Scott leaves O Palmeiras with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Scott ducks under a wild hook from O Palmeiras. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Nunca Subestime O Palmeiras will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Nunca Subestime O Palmeiras's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! O Palmeiras misses with a takedown attempt - Scott sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Scott feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends O Palmeiras sprawling to the canvas! O Palmeiras rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Scott finish him?!
Scott circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops O Palmeiras to the canvas! O Palmeiras doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Scott keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harris's jab looks to have found its range, popping Summers under the eye. Summers avoids the body shot from Harris.
Harris fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Summers checks it well. Summers connects with an inside leg kick. Summers throws a head kick that misses. Harris cracks the inside of Summers's front leg. Summers throws a body kick that misses. Harris throws a one two combo.
It looks like Nathan Summers has been cut. A big left from Summers misses. Summers misses with a body kick. Summers swings for the body but Harris moves out of range.
Harris throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Harris throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Summers stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Harris follows into mount!
Summers is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Harris content just to control the position here. Summers is still in real trouble! Can Harris finish him? That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Summers checks a leg kick. Summers lands an overhand right. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Summers crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Harris - the referee stops the clock and Summers gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Harris. Summers manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Harris misses with a jab, cross combination.
Summers explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Summers moves out of range of the body kick from Harris.
Harris will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Summers connects with a good right hand that stumbles Harris. Harris circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Summers lands a slapping body shot.
Summers moves into range and connects with a jab. Summers scores with a push kick. Summers lands a really nice looking cross but Harris seems unphased.
Harris is rocked! Summers throws an uppercut from hell that sends Harris clean off his feet! He's out cold! Summers stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nathan Summers! Nathan Summers spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab lands there for Coach. Boyka throws a big shot that misses. Coach appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Boyka swings for the body but Coach moves out of range.
Boyka tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Coach was well out of range. Poor timing from Boyka. Boyka pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Boyka keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Coach. Boyka bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Coach's head. Coach works the jab nicely. Coach throws out a loose jab but Boyka uses good head movement to avoid it. A nice side step and Boyka releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Coach takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Coach defending well as Boyka loads up on a big left hand. Boyka scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Boyka fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Coach manages to avoid it. Coach appears to be looking for a big counter. Coach works the jab nicely. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Boyka displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. We've been told by Coach's head coaches at English Top Team - THE Hybrid Gym (11 ELITE ) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Coach blocks a jab. Coach swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Boyka misses with a left hand and Coach counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Boyka controls Coach momentarily but Coach frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coach slips nicely into half guard. Coach trying to control the action but Boyka is working from the bottom. Coach is just content to waste time from the top position. Boyka takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Boyka is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Coach tries to free his leg and advance position but Boyka is retaining full guard. Coach slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Boyka keeping moving, preventing Coach from controlling successfully.

Boyka misses with a series of wild punches.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Coach lands with a left to the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! With the fighters clinched against the cage, Coach creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. A right handed body shot lands from Boyka.

Jalgratas staying out of range there. Jalgratas takes the fight into the clinch. Klincko throws a punch but it's blocked by Jalgratas. Our sources have told us that Klincko has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight. Klincko on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
