The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leafshard will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Soze.
Soze swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Leafshard seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Soze tries to bum rush Leafshard with a series of wild strikes but Leafshard uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Soze bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Leafshard walks forward, straight into a front kick from Soze.
Soze lands with a good body shot.
Leafshard misses with a double jab.
Soze lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Leafshard misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
We've been told by Leafshard's head coaches at Double XX that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Soze uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Leafshard.

Soze lets loose with a powerful body kick. Leafshard will feel that in the morning.

Soze lands a big head kick that sends Leafshard tumbling to the mat! Soze takes a step backwards and waves Leafshard back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Leafshard gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Soze gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Leafshard is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Adam will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
As Adam looks to move away, Ure throws a big counter combo but Adam just gets out of the way.
Adam shoots in looking for a takedown but Ure manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Adam's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A low kick from Adam is predictable there

and Ure counters with a single leg into guard. Adam didn't expect that.

Adam is looking for a triangle but Ure pushes his legs off easily.

Ure drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ure jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Adam escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ure gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
