Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Sam Gold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleksandr Sinytsyn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Aleksandr Sinytsyn was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Gold fails to land with a series of punches.
Sinytsyn throws out a counter right but Gold avoids it with no problem.
Sinytsyn has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Gold is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Gold is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Sinytsyn! But no joy.
Sinytsyn goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Sinytsyn chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Gold tries to clinch but Sinytsyn is having none of it.

Sam Gold seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sinytsyn scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Gold to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.

John throws a looping overhand right but Van Der Sar ducks down to avoid it.
Van Der Sar smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
