Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hood drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Hood uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Greene.
As Greene backs off Hood throws a huge counter combo but Greene manages to avoid it all.
Greene lands a lovely overhand right.

Greene fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hood, pushing him back against the cage.

Greene pulls guard successfully.
Hood would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Greene working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hood doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Greene is tightening it up a little... Hood has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Hood reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Hood taps out! Nice BJJ there by Greene!

Shum throws a hook but Aims blocks it.
Aims waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Shum.
Aims bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

It looks like Quon Shum has been cut.
Aims looks to land a right hand but Shum moved out of range.
Shum misses with a two punch combination.
Shum looks to land a left hand but Aims moved out of range nicely.
Aims misses with a hook.
Aims cracks Shum with an open hand slap.
Gary Aims seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Aims takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Aims will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Shum drops Aims with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Aims looks back up at him and smiles so Shum waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Gary Aims has been cut.
Shum wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Aims looks winded!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Shum lands with a big right hook that stumbles Aims - he's out on his feet here! Shum follows up with another monster hook that separates Aims from consciousness! Aims falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Shum stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

Camble keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Maximus Meridius seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Meridius is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Camble lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ash Camble showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Meridius connects with a nice short shot to Camble's temple.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Maximus Meridius overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Camble has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Meridius can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Meridius might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Meridius wants to control from the top but Camble keeps moving.
Maximus Meridius has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
