The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wayne Gracy throws an off balance right hand
and Ibu counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Wayne Gracy thinking. Wayne Gracy closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ibu circles away. Ibu scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Wayne Gracy throws a head kick that misses and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Ibu connects with a nice cross there... Wayne Gracy is looking wobbly and Ibu recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Wayne Gracy to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Ibu jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ananth dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dood. That did some damage! Ananth wants to land a leg kick but Dood is out of range. Ananth tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dood manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. A looping hook to the body misses from Ananth. Dood does a little dance to reset his feet. Dood throws a poor cross that misses
and Ananth counters with a three punch combo that has Dood backing up. Dood nods at Ananth to acknowledge the strikes. Ananth ducks under a wild hook from Dood. Ananth is looking to counter the offense by Dood and move into the clinch. Dood blocks a head kick by Ananth.

Dood catches Ananth with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Ananth looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Yidel Ananth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ananth scores with a sloppy right hand. Dood should have avoided that one. Dood looks to score with a jab to the body but Ananth is just out of range.

Ananth connects with a body shot that sends Dood's belly button to the back. A clash of legs there as Dood blocks the low kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ananth takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Dood misses with a wild body shot. Ananth was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Ananth fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dood looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Ananth drives through and clinches with Dood against the cage.

Keene is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Yocum gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Yocum has Keene pushed against the cage. He pushes Keene back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Yocum throws a beautiful elbow that sends Keene crashing to the floor! Yocum piles on the pressure with more strikes! Keene is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McGregor tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. A head kick misses from McGregor. Jaskok swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Jaskok avoids the head kick by McGregor.
McGregor shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. McGregor shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jaskok's guard. Jaskok has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. McGregor has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Jaskok lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of McGregor backwards. I was talking to McGregor's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jaskok lands with a light punch inside. Jaskok scores with a shoulder strike. Jaskok lands a shoulder strike. Jaskok lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. McGregor breaks from the clinch.

Jaskok is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. McGregor seems to have got his legs back now. Jaskok thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. McGregor can't keep his opponent in guard - Jaskok advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. McGregor knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jaskok on the ground. Jaskok is looking for a kimura here.

McGregor has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jaskok is working away from the top position though. Jaskok is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so McGregor is just riding it out for now. Jaskok eventually gives up the hold.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jaskok lands with an uppercut that bounces McGregor off the cage and back into range. Jaskok scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Jaskok has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Jaskok flashes McGregor a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. McGregor's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. McGregor crumples to the floor! He's out cold! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hold connects with a crisp jab. Hold lands the left hand. Varga shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Marcin Hold seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hold's jab looks to have found its range, popping Varga under the eye.
Varga is rocked! Hold scores with a hook to the body. Varga takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Hold closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Varga's guard. Varga is still in real trouble! Can Hold finish him? Varga escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hold gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Varga seems to have recovered his senses. Hold trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Varga is trying to keep Hold in close.

Varga is trying to control the position but Hold postures up. Hold trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Varga told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Hold is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Hold hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Lannister feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Runners jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Lannister scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Lannister connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Lannister throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nice sprawl there from Lannister as Runner shoots in. Runner shoots in looking for a takedown. Lannister tries to sprawl out of it but Runner keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lannister manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Lannister misses with a jab to the body

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perkins connects with a body shot. Kasen Perkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Perkins swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tarly now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Tarly throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Tarly moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Perkins swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Perkins looks to land a combination but Tarly avoids it well. Sloppy strikes from Tarly. Those never looked like landing. Tarly throws an ugly left hook that misses

It looks like Samwell Tarly has been cut. A jab from Perkins does it's job there. No joy there for Perkins, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bottura keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Tinto. Tinto loads up on a big right hand but Bottura slips the punch. Bottura has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Bottura!
It looks like Daniel Tinto has been cut. Bottura pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tinto feinted with a counter takedown. Bottura listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Tinto throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Bottura cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Bottura tests Tinto's chin there with a solid looking shot. Bottura looks to score with a jab to the body but Tinto is just out of range. We've been hearing reports that Tinto has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Bottura misses with a hook
and Tinto counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bottura tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bottura working for a triangle but Tinto defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bottura isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Tinto stacks Bottura on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Tinto!

Tinto wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bottura, who protects the arm well. Bottura is looking for a sweep. Bottura is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Bottura struggling a bit here. Bottura is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Tinto off and has taken his back! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Bottura sizes up Tinto with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Bottura swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Tinto attempts a counter takedown but Bottura avoids it well and moves away. Bottura misses with a few strikes there.

Bottura is not content to let Tinto control the position. Bottura tries to improve position but can't. Bottura manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Bottura is looking to control Tinto's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bottura avoid being mounted? Tinto missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Daniel Tinto. I think Tinto has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Shreve Jr is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Springs had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Springs's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
