Nurmagomedov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Tapaus has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Jacks has his foot on Tapaus's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tapaus works his way back into a safe position though.

Tapaus content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Jacks has locked up a guillotine! Jacks's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Tapaus is holding on here and Jacks must be using up a lot of energy. Tapaus has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Jacks gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
