The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Voudka shoots in but Salvatierra avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Salvatierra looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Salvatierra jabs Voudka to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Nice sprawl there from Voudka as Salvatierra shoots in.

Voudka decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Voudka is figuring out what he wants to do next.
It looks like Voudka might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Voudka wants to pass to mount but Salvatierra is defending the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Voudka is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Voudka maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Salvatierra could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Voudka has cracked it and Salvatierra is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Voudka!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vattalles shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ortz as he jumps to the side.

Ortz moves into the clinch successfully.

Ortz is trying to trip Vattalles. He has hold of a leg but Vattalles is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Ortz persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Vattalles wants to sweep here but Ortz controlling him for the moment.
Ortz trying to control but Vattalles is working from the bottom.
Ortz might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Vattalles haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Ortz is wriggling around trying to escape.

Vattalles is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Ortz is forced to tap! Great finish!
