Sanchez stuffs the takedown attempt from Fazik. Fazik gets slowly back to his feet.
Sanchez's jab looks to have found its range, popping Fazik under the eye.

Fazik's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sanchez connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Fazik scrambles back to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sanchez cracks Fazik with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Sanchez has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Fazik to stand back up!

McCullen appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Akharraz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
McCullen throws a series of punches but Akharraz moves out of range.

McCullen dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Akharraz. That did some damage!

McCullen has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Akharraz fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but McCullen is out of range.
A jab from Akharraz finds it's way through McCullen's defenses.

McCullen lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Akharraz at a distance.
Akharraz is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Akharraz throws a right and a left that McCullen avoids nicely.
Akharraz takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
An inside leg kick from McCullen misses.
McCullen throws a front kick aimed at Akharraz's knee but Akharraz avoids it well.
Akharraz is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
McCullen swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Akharraz.

McCullen scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
McCullen dodges the punch combination from Akharraz.
McCullen throws a series of punches but Akharraz avoids them all with ease.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

McCullen connects with a good right hand that stumbles Akharraz. Akharraz circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Akharraz is rocked!
Akharraz glances at the clock... BAM! McCullen nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Akharraz crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Akharraz is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
