The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pica tries for a takedown but Truck circles away easily

and Truck counters with a single leg into guard. Pica didn't expect that.
Pica is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Truck dives into side control.

Truck is putting a hurting on Pica here, landing some big shots from side control.

Yo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jenkins throws a low kick but it's checked well by Watson.
Jenkins punishes Watson's body with a nice straight punch.
Jenkins lands an overhand right.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Watson is defended easily by Jenkins.
Jenkins misses the jab.
Watson drops down looking for a counter takedown but Jenkins sprawls and moves away.
Watson looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Jenkins ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Watson moves away.

Jenkins feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Watson sprawling to the canvas! Watson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Jenkins finish him?!

It looks like Mikey Watson has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Watson shoots in for a takedown but Jenkins shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Jenkins cracks Watson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Jenkins has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Watson to stand back up!
Oh Watson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jenkins goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Watson feinted with a counter takedown.
Jenkins throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Watson gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Jenkins points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Watson wakes up just in time to hear Jenkins thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

We've been informed that Littlestone has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Champion looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.

Champion displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dog throws out the jab.

Dog was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Junkyard Dog seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
