Rand tries to bum rush Gomez with a series of wild strikes but Gomez uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rand's corner calls for a 1-2. Rand obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Gomez tries to counter with a clinch but Rand shakes him off and moves away.
A left lands for Rand.
Rand tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gomez was well out of range. Poor timing from Rand.

That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Locke comes to the cage accompanied by What Makes a Good Man. Danny Greene struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
