The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Toivonen looks for a takedown but Irrozios sprawls well. Toivonen drops his hands momentarily and Irrozios takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. The fight moves into the clinch position. Irrozios lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Toivonen backwards. With the fighters up against the cage, Irrozios throws an elbow but misses. Toivonen swings wildly with an uppercut but Irrozios uses good head movement to avoid it. Irrozios misses with a knee strike.
Irrozios escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Toivonen shoots in and drives through. Irrozios sprawls well. Toivonen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Irrozios sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Toivonen somewhat. A big right from Bedlaminov misses. Emelianenko throws the left hand but Bedlaminov avoids the punch easily. Emelianenko throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Emelianenko misses with an uppercut. Emelianenko missing with a left hand there. Bedlaminov was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Emelianenko uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bedlaminov. Emelianenko rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bedlaminov moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Emelianenko has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Emelianenko there as he acknowledges the shot.

Bedlaminov is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Vendetta Alliance London Gym, so we'll see if he gets out of it. This has been an exciting period of action! Bedlaminov is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Emelianenko off and has taken his back! Emelianenko is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Lopez. Lopez is looking to counter the offense by Chewer and move into the clinch. Chewer throws a good cross that connects.

He thinks about going to the ground but Lopez looks back up at him and smiles so Chewer waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
