0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Peter Smith Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Xobile Padayachee! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith Jr misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Padayachee throws a leg kick which misses Smith Jr's front leg but catches the back leg as Smith Jr tries to avoid it. Smith Jr shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Padayachee pinned against the cage. Padayachee gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Padayachee raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Smith Jr has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Padayachee. Smith Jr tries a head kick but it misses.
Smith Jr chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Padayachee can pounce on him.
Smith Jr seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Smith Jr looks for the body kick but Padayachee saw that one coming. Padayachee was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Smith Jr tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Padayachee defends well and Smith Jr ends up having to push Padayachee into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Smith Jr. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. It looks like Cody Ruttenum has been cut. Van Ginsburg ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ruttenum moves away. Ruttenum tries to close the distance and clinch but Van Ginsburg swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Van Ginsburg throws out a token jab with nothing on it. As Van Ginsburg backs off Ruttenum throws a huge counter combo but Van Ginsburg manages to avoid it all. Ruttenum drops his hands for a split second and Van Ginsburg immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Ruttenum face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Van Ginsburg follows up with a right hand that knocks Ruttenum into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

It looks like Tsing Tsing Khan has been cut. Satanae connects with a good right hand that stumbles Khan. Khan circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Khan thuds his right hand into Satanae's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Patricius Satanae is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Khan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Carter cracks Morbius with a solid left hand. Carter works over Morbius with some ground and pound from guard. Carter sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Morbius's guard. Carter has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Morbius actively working from the bottom here. Ground and pound from Carter. Carter prevents Morbius from improving his position. Carter lands strikes from half guard.
Morbius is rocked! Carter slips a nice elbow through Morbius's hands, connecting with Morbius's forehead. Morbius is still in real trouble! Can Carter finish him? Carter sitting in half guard here. What a brutal finish!
