14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Olympia Unchained! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sotto Jr motions for Unchained to come forward. Sotto Jr throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Unchained connects with a leg kick. Sotto Jr looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Unchained lands a leg kick that knocks Sotto Jr off balance momentarily. Unchained throws a hook but Sotto Jr blocks it. Unchained swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sotto Jr. Unchained on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Sotto Jr throws a series of punches but Unchained avoids them all with ease. Sotto Jr connects with an inside leg kick. Unchained tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sotto Jr was well out of range. Poor timing from Unchained. Unchained throws a jab but it's blocked by Sotto Jr. Unchained lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Sotto Jr ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. An attempted straight right counter from Sotto Jr misses the target. Sotto Jr connects with an inside leg kick. Unchained throws a low kick but Sotto Jr moves out of range easily. A jab from Unchained misses. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd cheers as Unchained lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sotto Jr doesn't seem phased though. Sotto Jr cracks a nice hook into Unchained's ribs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sotto Jr throws a body kick that misses. Sotto Jr sets himself, and Unchained steps forward looking for the clinch! Sotto Jr avoids it this time. Sotto Jr throws a nice outside leg kick. Unchained throws a leg kick that is checked and Sotto Jr counters with a nice body kick.
A decent looking cross lands there for Sotto Jr. Sotto Jr misses with a low kick. Umberto Sotto Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A left lands for Sotto Jr. A big left from Sotto Jr misses. Sotto Jr paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Unchained jabs Sotto Jr right on the nose. Sotto Jr blinks but takes it well. Unchained closes the distance and clinches. Sotto Jr misses with a hook from the clinch. Unchained landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sotto Jr working hard to break the clinch. A short right from Unchained on the inside. Unchained lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Unchained tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Unchained presses Sotto Jr against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Sotto Jr avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Sotto Jr appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Sotto Jr blocks a jab. Sotto Jr tries to land a leg kick but Unchained saw it coming and moves away.
Sotto Jr looks to land a combination but Unchained avoids it well. Good exchange - Unchained coming out on top. Sotto Jr keeps the fight on the outside. Unchained thows a left - swing and a miss! Sotto Jr misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Unchained counters with a lovely straight right hand! Sotto Jr throws a half hearted mid kick. A bone on bone clash there as Sotto Jr blocks the leg kick.

Sotto Jr is rocked! Crack! Unchained connects with the perfect overhand right and Sotto Jr falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Unchained!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Olympia Unchained! Olympia Unchained decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kukko fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches McLarnin on the side of the head. Kukko throws a leg kick and McLarnin counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Kukko wants to improve his position but McLarnin is controlling well.
McLarnin takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Kukko is looking to improve his position.

McLarnin prevents Kukko from improving his position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McLarnin is taking a breather. Kukko says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. McLarnin seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kukko does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. McLarnin passes into side control, despite Kukko's attempt to control the position.
Kukko is looking for a sweep. Kukko struggling a bit here. Kukko tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but McLarnin wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. We've been hearing that Kukko has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. McLarnin is looking to stand up but Kukko isn't so interested in that idea. McLarnin looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Kukko has picked McLarnin up and slammed him! McLarnin can't keep hold of the triangle and Kukko manages to pass to side control!

So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Kukko doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kukko manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. McLarnin is looking for a triangle but Kukko pushes his legs off easily.

Kukko throws a right and a left that McLarnin avoids nicely. McLarnin appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Kukko displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as McLarnin throws out the jab. It looked like Kukko was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. McLarnin has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from McLarnin there as he acknowledges the shot. Nice uppercut there from Kukko. McLarnin gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kukko.
McLarnin is rocked! McLarnin darts in looking for a takedown but Kukko gets double underhooks and turns McLarnin into the cage. McLarnin is still on wobbly legs! Can Kukko finish him? McLarnin shoots in looking for a takedown. Kukko tries to sprawl out of it but McLarnin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kukko manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. McLarnin seems to have recovered his senses.

McLarnin decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Kukko is trying to get back to full guard. Mingo throws a jab when Ruden was well out of range. Mingo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ruden was well out of range. Poor timing from Mingo. Mingo thuds his right hand into Ruden's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tsuyoshi clobbers Malmsteen with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Yngwie Malmsteen has been cut. A big right from Tsuyoshi misses. Tsuyoshi throws a hook but Malmsteen blocks it. Malmsteen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tsuyoshi moves away. No joy there for Tsuyoshi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tsuyoshi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Malmsteen. A solid leg kick lands there for Tsuyoshi.

Malmsteen wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Tsuyoshi throws a lazy right hand but Malmsteen sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Malmsteen takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Malmsteen has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Malmsteen there as he acknowledges the shot. Malmsteen avoids a low kick by using good footwork. A solid leg kick lands there for Tsuyoshi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Venger getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Venger throws a quick inside leg kick. The crowd cheers as Nicolosi lands an impressive looking overhand right. Venger doesn't seem phased though. Venger thows a left - swing and a miss! Nicolosi has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Nicolosi lands a slapping body shot.
Venger misses with a looping right. Venger throws an overhand right that lands on Nicolosi's shoulder, as Nicolosi tries to avoid the shot. Nicolosi throws a push kick but Venger slaps the foot to one side. Venger has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Venger there as he acknowledges the shot. Venger lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Nicolosi cracks Venger with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Nicolosi has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Venger to stand back up!
Venger is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nicolosi drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Venger's head, knocking him out cold! Nicolosi is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

A very excited looking Frank Nicolosi rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed. Renato cracks Aires with an open hand slap. This has been an exciting period of action! Aires gets a double leg takedown into Renato's guard. Aires is standing up over Renato. Renato looks to escape but Aires dives into side control.
