0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Max Cage! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kron Lacey! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lacey avoids a punch combination nicely.
Cage looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Good shot there by Cage. Cage misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lacey uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cage.
Lacey shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Cage defends it nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lacey shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cage as he avoids it easily. Cage throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lacey feints the counter takedown. Cage lands a nice shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cage lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lacey circles away quickly and effectively. Cage swinging wildly here.
Cage slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Cage misses with a double jab.
Lacey changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lacey is defended easily by Cage. Max Cage has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kron Lacey. Lacey ducks right into an uppercut from Cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lacey shoots and misses and Cage counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Cage lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Cage lands the left hand. Lacey showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cage thuds his right hand into Lacey's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Cage throws a right and a left that Lacey avoids nicely. Lacey walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Cage lands a right hook to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A right-left combo lands from Cage. The fighters circle momentarily. Cage darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Lacey fails with the takedown and Cage counters with a nice body shot. Max Cage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lacey is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Lacey is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Cage gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Lacey goes for a takedown attempt but Cage pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Cage sizes up Lacey with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lacey shoots in for a double leg but Cage sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Cage scores with a decent looking hook. Cage stuffs the takedown attempt from Lacey. Lacey gets slowly back to his feet. Oooooh!!! Cage has knocked Lacey down with a huge combo! Cage steps away and waves a wobbly Lacey back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Kron Lacey has been cut. Cage stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cage wants it to stay on the feet. Cage misses with a few strikes there.

That's one minute gone in the round. A jab from Cage does it's job there. Lacey on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. A decent looking cross lands there for Cage. Lacey is still on wobbly legs! Can Cage finish him? Lacey walks into a stiff left hand from Cage. Lacey takes one on the button. Lacey leaves his chin hanging out and Cage seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Lacey crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane One Punch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Turk Turkleton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). One Punch comes to the cage accompanied by Rocky balboa theme. Turk Turkleton told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Turk Turkleton! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Turkleton fails with the takedown. One Punch half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. One Punch scores with a crisp jab that stopped Turkleton in his tracks. One Punch lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Turkleton fails with the takedown and One Punch counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. One Punch feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Turkletons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Turkleton tries to clinch but One Punch moves out of range. One Punch looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Turkleton is defended easily by One Punch. Shane One Punch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Turk Turkleton. Turkleton on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Some bone on bone action there as Turkleton checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. One Punch misses with a double jab.
Turkleton wants to counter the offense by One Punch and move into the clinch position. Turkleton has closed the distance and engaged One Punch in a clinch.
One Punch wants a takedown but no success here.
One Punch has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Turkleton after a bit of a struggle.
That's one minute gone in the round. One Punch wants the takedown. Turkleton is fighting it off but One Punch persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Turkleton's guard against the cage. Turkleton lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Turkleton content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
It looks like Shane One Punch has been cut. Turkleton is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Turkleton stopping the sweep attempt from One Punch. Turkleton is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Turkleton lands a couple of decent looking shots. Turkleton content to stall in guard here. Turkleton got a little sloppy there for a moment and One Punch has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Turkleton has managed to get both his arms back between One Punch's legs - danger averted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Turkleton sitting in guard, not really doing much. Turkleton makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Turkleton working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. Turkleton engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Turkleton is working One Punch over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. One Punch has an active guard here but Turkleton has managed to pass into half guard.
Turkleton moves into full mount! One Punch won't be happy about that! Turkleton controlling the pace for now. Turkleton dominating with strikes here. Turkleton takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Turkleton lands a big shot there that rocks One Punch but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Shane One Punch's cut is getting worse. BOOM! Turkleton connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Williams wants to stand and escape but Idowu is having none of it. Idowu seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. It seemed like Idowu was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. We've been told by Williams's head coaches at 3Band MMA ($500/week) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Williams pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Williams throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
And Idowu tries to counter it with a takedown but Williams pushes his down on his head and steps out. Idowu misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Williams was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Idowu throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Williams. Idowu tries to score a power double leg takedown but Williams sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Idowu somewhat. Idowu looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Donk. Williams catches Idowu right on the button with a cross. Idowu throws a hook to the side of Williams's head but Williams sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Malingo misses with a looping left. Malingo pushing out the jab but it's not landing. And Lennon tries to counter it with a takedown but Malingo pushes his down on his head and steps out. We've been hearing reports that Malingo has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Malingo throws a body shot but no joy. Malingo scores with a leg kick.
Malingo lands a lovely overhand right. Lennon takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Malingo lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Malingo throws a hook but Lennon avoids it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Malingo, as that shot connected.

It looked like Driver wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Fo shoots in and gets a takedown into Driver's guard. Fo won't allow Driver to sweep him here. Fo stands and throws Driver's legs to the side, diving into side control. Fo tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Driver tries to bench press Fo off him but Fo keeps the position. Fo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Driver is looking to reverse the position. Driver is working hard here to advance position. Fo is working to tighten his grip on Driver's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Driver has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Fo is really squeezing tight and eventually Driver passes out! Fo breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Thundercunt misses with a straight left. Thorsen throws out a loose jab but Thundercunt uses good head movement to avoid it. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Thundercunt fails with an attempt to clinch.
Thundercunt moves into the clinch. Thundercunt tries to throw a body punch but Thorsen avoids it by throwing Thundercunt back against the cage. Thundercunt lands with a left to the head. Thundercunt tries a body shot but Thorsen blocks it.
Thorsen lands a hook that snaps the head of Thundercunt backwards. Thorsen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Thorsen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Thundercunt moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Thundercunt tries to counter by closing the distance. Thundercunt tries to clinch but Thorsen is having none of it. Thundercunt drops his hands momentarily and Thorsen takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Thorsen lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Thundercunt is rocked! Thorsen drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Thundercunt right on the button. Thundercunt goes down! Thorsen follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Thorsen gets the win via TKO!
