1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mantak Cebu! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, John Roberts and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Awesome slips a jab from Cebu. Awesome drives through with a takedown into guard. Cebu keeping moving, preventing Awesome from controlling successfully. Awesome stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cebu swivels though and keeps the full guard. Awesome really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Cebu wants to stand up but Awesome is controlling him. Awesome drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Awesome jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Awesome wants to control from the top but Cebu keeps moving.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Cebu thows a left - swing and a miss! Awesome gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Awesome avoids a kick to the body.
Awesome lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Cebu is rocked!
It looks like Mantak Cebu has been cut. Awesome shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Cebu is on queer street and Awesome is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Goku Awesome! In his post fight interview, Goku Awesome started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Smoke misses. Attack takes a body punch but keeps moving. Smoke cracks Attack with an open hand slap. Smoke throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nice shot lands for Smoke. Attack misses with a few strikes there.
Attack lands a jab to Smoke's midsection. Smoke swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Attack throws a right and a left that Smoke avoids nicely. Smoke was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Smoke scores with a decent looking hook. Smoke misses with a hook. Attack ducked under it nicely. Attack unleashes a big counter combination but Smoke bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. No joy there for Attack, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Smoke throws a shot from downtown. Attack moves away and avoids it. Smoke thows a left - swing and a miss! Attack moves forwards but Smoke connects with a nice, crisp jab. Smoke throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Attack dips to his left and cracks Smoke with an uppercut! Smoke looks to score with a jab to the body but Attack is just out of range. Smoke fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Attack manages to avoid it. Attack gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Danga de danga de dang - Attack scores with a four punch combination! Attack waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Smoke. Attack slips a jab from Smoke. A big left from Attack misses. Attack throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Smoke. Attack is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Smoke. Smoke misses with a hook. Attack ducked under it nicely. Smoke fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Attack throws a right hand that misses
and Smoke cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Smoke throws a lazy uppercut

A quick step to the side and Smoke tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Attack takes a swing at Smoke's ribcage but misses. Smoke throws a big shot that misses. Smoke moves away from the strike by Attack. Smoke misses with an uppercut. Smoke moves out of range as Attack strikes. Zach Attack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Smoke waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Attack. Attack is looking for the big counter here. Attack cracks Smoke with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smoke throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A punch combination from Attack misses. Smoke throwing a counter right hand but Attack manages to avoid it. Attack avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Attack feints a jab promting Smoke to slip. Attack then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Smoke slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Smoke is rocked! Smoke jabbing away but nothing is landing. Oh Smoke is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Attack misses with the combination.
Attack steps in with a hook that catches Smoke right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Attack follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Smoke looks absolutely devastated.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! O Connor will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
It seemed like Justis was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. O Connor uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Justis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Roshi shoots for a takedown but Johnson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Joe Fletcher Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Johnson gets the takedown into side control. Johnson wants to stand but Roshi is controlling his arm. Johnson tries to advance to mount but can't. Roshi is looking for a sweep. Johnson throwing shots but missing, from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Roshi prevents Johnson from moving into mount. Johnson is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Roshi's shoulder. That is not cool. Johnson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Roshi keeps working. Roshi tries to improve position but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Johnson wants to stand but Roshi is controlling his arm.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Johnson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Roshi manages to work his way to half guard, despite Johnson's best efforts. Roshi holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Johnson moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Roshi. Johnson goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Roshi rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Johnson's guard! Nice work there by Roshi! Roshi scoring with some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Roshi distracts Johnson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roshi throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Johnson controls Roshi momentarily but Roshi frees himself. Roshi with a flurry of punches that miss. Roshi in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Roshi landing some decent shots from guard. Roshi looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Roshi chips away with some ground and pound. Roshi scoring with punches to the head and body. Roshi is in close to Johnson's body, working some short punches and elbows. Roshi is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Roshi trying to control but Johnson is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson controls Roshi momentarily but Roshi frees himself. Roshi content to stall in guard here. Roshi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Johnson is keeping the position for now. Johnson controls Roshi momentarily but Roshi frees himself. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Johnson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Roshi haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from McMannus. Lamochenko scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Lamochenko cracks McMannus with a left hook right on the temple and McMannus goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Lamochenko lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully McMannus is OK!

Zangief Lamochenko decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Friday misses with a low kick as Mason jumps back. Friday throws a head kick that misses. Mason looks like he wants to counter punch here. Mason throws out a loose jab but Friday uses good head movement to avoid it. Friday definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Mason misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Johnny Deluxe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marc Shelton! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Bruno Lombardi and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Deluxe throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A little jabbing left from Shelton on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Shelton works over Deluxe's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Johnny Deluxe has been cut. Deluxe tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Shelton paws at him with a jab and circles away. We've been hearing reports that Deluxe has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Deluxe tries to score a power double leg takedown but Shelton sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Deluxe somewhat. Deluxe rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Shelton counters with a lovely straight right hand! Shelton closes the distance but Deluxe moves to the side letting Deluxe counter with a right hand.
It looks like Marc Shelton has been cut. Shelton throws a poor cross that misses
and Deluxe counters with a straight right hand. Deluxe manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Shelton on his heels. He'll look to pass Shelton's guard now, I'm sure. Shelton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Deluxe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. This has been an exciting period of action! Deluxe with a nice head shot there. Deluxe trying to control but Shelton is working from the bottom. Deluxe drops back looking for a leg! Shelton is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Shelton manages to kick Deluxe off! Deluxe jumps back into Shelton's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shelton wants to stand and escape but Deluxe is having none of it. Deluxe landing with the ground and pound. Deluxe throws a big right hand that misses. Shelton has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Fight Club FC. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Deluxe throws a strike but Shelton rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Deluxe tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shelton has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Deluxe to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Shelton is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Deluxe pulls down on the head and he's put Shelton to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Johnny Deluxe! After winning the bout, Johnny Deluxe thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
