The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
N`bagr connects with a jab.
Grena gets cracked with a nice right hand there by N`bagr.
N`bagr lands with a straight right. Grena didn't see that one coming.
N`bagr lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Grena tries a head kick but it misses.
N`bagr lands with a right hand.
N`bagr fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Grena misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Grena shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with N`bagr but N`bagr pushes him off and we're back to square one.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
N`bagr lands a high kick!

N`bagr closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Grena did well to prevent N`bagr getting side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Grena is looking for a sweep. N`bagr is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Bosch darts in looking for a takedown but Niedzwiedzki gets double underhooks and turns Bosch into the cage.

It looks like Robert Bosch has been cut.

Bosch tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Niedzwiedzki smiles and moves away.

Niedzwiedzki drops Bosch with a left and a right! Oh, Bosch is hurt - Niedzwiedzki dives into side control looking to finish!

The crowd goes nuts as Niedzwiedzki knocks Bosch out cold with a massive hammerfist! Niedzwiedzki Jumps to his feet and climbs on top of the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santana throws a hook but Shannon avoids it easily.
Shannon changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Shannon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Shannon throws a right hand that Santana ducks under and follows up with a left that Santana also avoids with ease.
Shannon stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Shannon scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Shannon misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Santana! But no joy.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Shannon pulls Santana in close to his closed guard and prevents Santana from doing any damage or advancing position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Shannon is on top in guard.

Santana escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Shannon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Shannon controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Shannon got a little sloppy there for a moment and Santana has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Shannon has managed to get both his arms back between Santana's legs - danger averted.

Shannon wants to pass the guard but Santana is keeping the position.

Shannon is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Shannon's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Santana working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Shannon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Shannon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
