The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Skubini tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Slayer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Slayer is looking to counter punch. Skubini is looking to clinch but Slayer is avoiding it.
Skubini is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Slayer closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Skubini to the mat! Skubini manages to get full guard. Slayer is in close to Skubini's body, working some short punches and elbows. Skubini is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Slayer frees his head nicely. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Franco misses with a takedown and Bootier counters with a nice uppercut. Bootier clinches up with Franco and pushes him back against the cage. Bootier lands a hook to the side of the head. Bootier slows down the pace here.
Bootier manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dood takes the fight into the clinch. We've been hearing reports that McCall has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. McCall tries to land knees in the clinch but Dood avoids the damage to the body. McCall trying to land knees to the body.
McCall tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. With the fighters up against the cage, McCall throws an elbow but misses. A short right hand to the side of the head by Dood. Dood lands a body punch. McCall creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Dood managing to block the knees to the body from McCall.
McCall throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
McCall tries to stall but Dood uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
McCall turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and McCall manages to end up in side control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Dood tries to escape but McCall is in control. Dood is positioning himself to get back to half guard. McCall is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Dood is trying to escape and McCall transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Dood is forced to tap! Nice work there by McCall! Very nice indeed!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dutchman connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Cenabre fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Dutchman has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Dutchman connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Cenabre's hands. Dutchman jabs Cenabre to the body, keeping him at a distance. Dutchman lands a nice looking body shot.
Cenabre tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. It looked like Dutchman wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Dutchman throws a right hand that Cenabre ducks under and follows up with a left that Cenabre also avoids with ease. Cenabre looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Crunch! Cenabre slams his shin into Dutchman's torso. Cenabre cracks Dutchman with a right hand to the side of the head.
It looks like Lake Dutchman has been cut. Cenabre looks to score with a jab to the body but Dutchman is just out of range. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dutchman's jab looks to have found its range, popping Cenabre under the eye. Cenabre lands a nice looking kick to the body. Dutchman takes a step back to recover. Dutchman is breathing heavily. Cenabre wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Cenabre cracks the inside of Dutchman's front leg. Cenabre wants to clinch. A punch combination from Cenabre misses. Dutchman waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Cenabre.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cenabre gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Cenabre wants to clinch up but Dutchman keeps it at a distance. Dutchman takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Cenabre cracks a nice hook into Dutchman's ribs. Cenabre throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dutchman sees it coming and avoids it easily. Dutchman swats away the attempt to clinch by Cenabre. A clash of legs there as Dutchman blocks the low kick. Cenabre is looking to clinch but Dutchman is avoiding it.
Dutchman was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Dutchman scores with a jab to the jaw. Cenabre misses the jab. Dutchman uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Cenabre. Cenabre lands a front kick. Judah Cenabre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dutchman moves out of range of the body kick. Cenabre fails in his attempt to clinch. Dutchman scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Cenabre throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cenabre cracks a nice hook into Dutchman's ribs. Cenabre wants to clinch. Jab, jab by Cenabre - just one landing. Cenabre walks into a straight right hand from Dutchman. Dutchman lunges at Cenabre with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Cenabre's hand. Cenabre throws a hook but Dutchman blocks it. Dutchman throws a big counter combination but Cenabre scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Cenabre misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cenabre tried to score with a low kick but Dutchman checks it. Dutchman darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Cenabre takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Cenabre closes the distance but Dutchman moves to the side and Dutchman makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cenabre looks to throw a body kick letting Dutchman counter with a right hand. Cenabre tries to land a front kick but Dutchman steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Cenabre tries to clinch up letting Dutchman counter with a right hand. Cenabre rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Dutchman counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Cenabre thinking. Cenabre on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Cenabre misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Tymonowicz tries to pull guard but Froggo forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Froggo lands a big right hand that drops Tymonowicz! The killer instinct kicks in and Froggo finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Froggo!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Griffey Jr jabbing away but nothing is landing. Tuh attempts a counter takedown but Griffey Jr avoids it well and moves away. Tuh looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Griffey Jr is fending him off so far but Tuh persists. Nope, Griffey Jr circles away and we're back to standing. Griffey Jr ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Griffey Jr misses with an uppercut. Griffey Jr lands with a hook. Tuh tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Griffey Jr throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A jab from Griffey Jr does it's job there. We've been told by Tuh's head coaches at Heart Cave (8 elites, 4 double-elites, 1 triple) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Griffey Jr connects with the punch. Tuh takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Tuh looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Griffey Jr misses with a straight left. Griffey Jr fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tuh manages to avoid it. Tuh drops down looking for a counter takedown but Griffey Jr sprawls and moves away. Griffey Jr lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Griffey Jr throws a looping overhand right but Tuh ducks down to avoid it. Tuh misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Griffey Jr.

Griffey Jr fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Tuh on the side of the head. Griffey Jr connects with a right hand. Tuh shakes it off. Tuh displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Griffey Jr throws out the jab. A looping hook to the body misses from Tuh. Griffey Jr does a little dance to reset his feet. Griffey Jr clobbers Tuh with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Tuh on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Nice straight punches there by Griffey Jr. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Griffey Jr. Griffey Jr is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Tuh had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Griffey Jr is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tuh. Tuh moves forwards but Griffey Jr connects with a nice, crisp jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tuh looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Griffey Jr! Griffey Jr throws Tuh to one side and escapes! This has been an exciting period of action! Decent striking displayed by Griffey Jr there. Tuh shoots in and gets a takedown into Griffey Jr's guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Griffey Jr holds on and takes a little breather. Tuh is pushing down on Griffey Jr's leg trying to pass to half guard. Griffey Jr is fighting to maintain full guard but Tuh has managed to sneak the leg through. Tuh seems to be looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tuh is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Griffey Jr has managed to free his arm - good work. Griffey Jr is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Griffey Jr preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Tuh is looking for a kimura but Griffey Jr is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tuh to get the leverage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Tuh is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Griffey Jr defends it well. Tuh is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Griffey Jr is just riding it out for now. Tuh eventually gives up the hold. Griffey Jr controlling the position for now. Tuh is trying to work for a kimura but Griffey Jr is defending well.
Tuh is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Tuh throws a hook to the side of Griffey Jr's head but Griffey Jr sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Griffey Jr has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Tuh misses with a jab, cross combination.

Hammer works on Cbomb's body with a couple of short punches. Hammer is looking to break free of the clinch but Cbomb has double underhooks. Cbomb keeps control of Hammer as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Cbomb lands a nice uppercut. Hammer misses with a punch on the inside.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Uzo tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Johnson is able to avoid easily. Uzo just misses with a punch to the body.
Johnson is looking to counter punch. Uzo misses with a right hand and Johnson counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Johnson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Uzo misses the shot to the body. It looked like Johnson wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Uzo gets cracked there but stands up to it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kane fails with the takedown. Steve is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Kane with a body shot. Kane shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Steve counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Steve steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kane. Kane with a poor takedown and Steve counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kane thinking. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Henry Kane. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kane closes this distance looking for a takedown but Steve circles away. A little jabbing left from Steve on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
