11 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kim Shaw! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Diedrich Kamphmann! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kamphmann throws a hook but Shaw blocks it. Kamphmann waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Shaw. Kamphmann misses with an uppercut. Kamphmann swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Kamphmann takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Shaw has been working on his boxing with his coaches at *****POLAR***** in the buildup to the fight. Kamphmann swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Shaw counters by moving into the clinch. Kamphmann has picked Shaw up - he's going for a ride! Kamphmann dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Shaw kicks off Kamphmann and gets to his feet. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A telegraphed right hand from Kamphmann misses the target. Kamphmann swings and misses with a shot to the body letting Shaw counter with a right hand. Shaw rushes Kamphmann and presses him up against the cage. Shaw throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Shaw stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Kamphmann is working for takedown but Shaw is calmly controlling the position for now. Shaw tries a body shot but Kamphmann blocks it.
Shaw unloads a knee to the mid-section. Shaw digs a right hand into Kamphmann's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Kamphmann's gas tank. Kamphmann tries to score a body lock takedown but Shaw shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Shaw crunches a lovely knee into Kamphmann's ribcage. Kamphmann looks winded! Shaw cracks Kamphmann with a nice body shot. Shaw taking a breather.

Kamphmann drops down looking for an ankle pick but Shaw pulls his leg out and moves away.
Kim Shaw has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Diedrich Kamphmann. Kamphmann throws a series of punches but Shaw moves out of range. A solid leg kick lands there for Shaw.

and Shaw counters with a nice body shot. Shaw gets a clinch. A short uppercut from Shaw. Shaw is leaning against Kamphmann and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Shaw misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Shaw makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Kamphmann takes a shot to the head. Kamphmann prevents a body shot from Shaw. Shaw using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.

Shaw is working Kamphmann over against the cage. Kamphmann's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Kamphmann goes for a takedown in the clinch but Shaw prevents it.

Kamphmann has Shaw pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Shaw manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Shaw connects with a nasty looking knee right to Kamphmann's face.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Shaw lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Kamphmann backwards. Shaw effectively controlling the action here. Shaw scores with a shot to the side of Kamphmann's head. Kamphmann has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Shaw after a bit of a struggle. Shaw lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. A short right from Shaw. Kamphmann changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Shaw fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Shaw wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Kamphmann throws an overhand right that lands on Shaw's shoulder, as Shaw tries to avoid the shot. Kamphmann gets tackled into the cage by Shaw. Shaw maintains the clinch. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Shaw creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Kamphmann is looking to take this one to the mat. A short right hand to the side of the head by Shaw. Kamphmann is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Shaw pushes Kamphmann back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kamphmann can't get the takedown.

Kamphmann is still on wobbly legs! Can Shaw finish him? Shaw is pushing Kamphmann up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Shaw lands an uppercut. Shaw scores with a hook to the body. Shaw lands a nice uppercut. A short right from Shaw. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Shaw is working Kamphmann over against the cage. Shaw is leaning against Kamphmann and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Shaw dips a shoulder and cracks Kamphmann with a mighty uppercut! Kamphmann falls back against the cage and Shaw unloads with a barrage of strikes! Kamphmann is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Shaw screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Teller throws a looping overhand right but Ciz ducks down to avoid it. Ciz looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Teller! Ciz taking a breather here. Ciz throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Ciz throwing strikes but missing, from side control. This fight is sponsored by Chainsaw 7. More blood and guts and stuff like that, in cinemas everywhere now! Ciz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Teller dodges the ground and pound from Ciz. Teller is not content to let Ciz control the position. Teller is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Teller stops Ciz from passing to mount. We've been hearing that Ciz has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Ciz wants to control but Teller is keeping him busy. Ciz throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Teller manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Teller stands up and beckons Ciz to join him on the feet. Teller throws a right hand that Ciz ducks under and follows up with a left that Ciz also avoids with ease. Ciz lands a high kick!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Teller throws a wild body kick that Ciz sees coming a mile off. Ciz missing with a left hand there. Teller was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Teller blocks the body kick.
A head kick by Ciz misses and Teller connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Ciz takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Ciz ducks under a wild hook from Teller. Teller waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ciz. And Ciz counters with a quick kick to the body but Teller blocks it. Teller tries to clinch there but Ciz circles away.

Ciz feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Ciz throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Teller wants to stand up but Ciz is controlling him. Teller preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ciz sitting in guard, not really doing much. Teller wants to sweep here but Ciz controlling him for the moment. Ciz forces his way into half guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Ciz looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Teller manages to get to full guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Teller is looking to stand up but Ciz isn't so interested in that idea. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jax Teller dominated that round. That's time! Ciz's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Ciz takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Ciz shoots in looking for a takedown but Teller manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ciz's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Decent striking displayed by Teller there. Jax Teller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ciz keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Ciz was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Teller has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Teller throws a lazy right hand but Ciz sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Ciz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Teller manages to avoid it. Teller takes a swing at Ciz's ribcage but misses. Teller throws a nice inside leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Teller checks a leg kick. Teller throws a body shot but no joy. Teller throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ciz stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Teller smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Teller misses with a lunging right hand
and Ciz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round. Teller throws a big shot that misses. Teller fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ciz manages to avoid it. Teller tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ciz swats him away and circles back towards the center. A counter left hand to the body from Ciz misses its target. A looping hook to the body misses from Teller. Ciz does a little dance to reset his feet. Ciz blocks a head kick by Teller.
Teller is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Ciz tries to clinch there but Teller circles away.
Ciz pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Teller! But no joy. Teller fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ciz looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Ciz tries a head kick but it misses.
Good work by Ciz as he checks the leg kick. Teller has been the more effective fighter overall so far. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ciz. Teller connects with a looping right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Teller throws a looping overhand right but Ciz ducks down to avoid it. Teller scores with the left hand. Ciz knows he should have avoided that one. Ciz goes for a double leg but Teller avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Teller continues to drive forward. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for George Ciz. That's going to take a lot out of him. A big right from Teller misses. Teller scores with a push kick. Ciz shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Teller sprawls well. Teller wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ciz gets slowly back to his feet. Ciz swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Teller throws out a counter right but Ciz avoids it with no problem. Teller moves into range and connects with a jab. Teller drives through and clinches with Ciz against the cage.

Jax Teller showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on George Ciz's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Teller fakes the leg kick and cracks Ciz in the body. Nice jab there from Teller. Jax Teller seems to be getting the better of the standup. Teller swings for the body but Ciz moves out of range.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Teller. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Teller connects with a knee to the head.

Chisholm throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Kawajiri tries a low kick but Chisholm avoids it. Chisholm throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ludvig Ericsson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stew Sauced! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ericsson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sauced throws out the jab. Ericsson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sauced manages to avoid it. Ericsson misses with a body kick. Ludvig Ericsson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ericsson catches Sauced with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Ericsson forces Sauced back against the cage and clinches. A short left from Sauced. A head punch blocked on the inside by Sauced. I was talking to Ericsson's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Sauced wants to break free but Ericsson has control.

Ericsson lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Sauced backwards. Ericsson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Sauced's efforts to push away. Sauced looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Sauced looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Ericsson wants to stall.
That's one minute gone in the round. A short right from Ericsson. Sauced working hard to break the clinch. Ericsson swings wildly with an uppercut but Sauced uses good head movement to avoid it. Sauced breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ericsson gets a takedown into half guard. Still in half guard, Ericsson seems content to control. Ericsson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sauced's head. Ericsson controlling the pace. Sauced is pressing down on Ericsson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sauced ducks under a wild hook from Ericsson. Ericsson gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Ericsson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Sauced throws out a counter right but Ericsson avoids it with no problem. Sauced lands a glancing blow to the side of Ericsson's head. Ericsson throws a series of strikes that have Sauced backpedaling.
It looks like Stew Sauced has been cut. Good shot there by Sauced. Ericsson connects with a solid leg kick. Sauced has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Sauced there as he acknowledges the shot. A clash of legs there as Sauced blocks the low kick. Sauced needs to keep his hands up - Ericsson had a free shot at his head there. This has been an exciting period of action! Sauced digs a good body shot into Ericsson's ribs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Sauced. Ericsson does a little dance to reset his feet. Sauced takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Sauced is rocked! Ericsson circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Sauced to the canvas! Sauced doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Ericsson keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
