1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rocky Merciianaa! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and George Francis.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice combination there by Hartt.
Hartt looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Merciianaa flicks out a counter leg kick but Hartt steps away. Hartt swinging wildly here.
Hartt shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Merciianaa eats them both and turns towards Hartt to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Hartt will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hartt throws a series of punches but Merciianaa moves out of range. Hartt cracks a nice hook into Merciianaa's ribs. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Merciianaa lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hartt's sensitive parts. Hartt swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Merciianaa counters by moving into the clinch. Hartt wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Hartt looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Hartt lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Merciianaa circles away quickly and effectively. Merciianaa tries a quick counter leg kick but Hartt is wise to it. Hartt tries to bum rush Merciianaa with a series of wild strikes but Merciianaa uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Merciianaa looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Merciianaa dodges the punch combination from Hartt.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Merciianaa lands with a kick to the temple. Hartt shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
 Doug Hartt's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Merciianaa throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tessier slips under a jab from Syndal. Syndal throws a body punch but Tessier moves out of range. Syndal throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tessier really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Tessier throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Syndal takes a kick to the side of the head. Syndal thows a left - swing and a miss! Syndal misses with a looping right. We've been hearing reports that Tessier has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Syndal falls off balance throwing a combination
and Tessier counters with a nice double leg into side control. Syndal won't be happy with that. Syndal is trying to escape the position but Tessier is controlling the position.
Tessier is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Syndal has escaped the position, nice work there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Syndal tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Tessier wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Tessier is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Syndal has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Tessier has hold of Syndal's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Syndal manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Syndal tries to reverse the position but Tessier maintains control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Syndal tries to hold on but Tessier postures up. Tessier sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Tessier punching from mount but Syndal doing a good job of avoiding damage. Syndal really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tessier. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Tessier tries to control but Syndal wriggling away. Tessier has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Tessier is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Syndal to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Syndal shrugs it off. Tessier controlling from the full mount. Tessier prevents Syndal from getting the reversal.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Tessier will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Tessier throws some wild stikes that Syndal manages to avoid easily.

Niaz stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Trenchard throws up his legs and catches Niaz in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Niaz tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Trenchard! That came out of nowhere!

McCoy connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Baggins misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

 It looks like Willie McCoy has been cut. Baggins takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Baggins dodges the punch combination from McCoy.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. McCoy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Baggins circles away quickly and effectively. The fight stays on the outside here - Baggins looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
McCoy closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Baggins quickly recovers to half guard. McCoy not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. McCoy controlling the action here. McCoy has been the more effective fighter overall so far. McCoy thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Baggins's head.

McCoy is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

McCoy distracts Baggins with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Bilbo Baggins has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Baggins wants to stand and escape but McCoy is having none of it.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Willie McCoy is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Troy tries to bum rush Darski with a series of wild strikes but Darski uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Troy cracks Darski with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Brown has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brown pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Golovkin is keeping the position for now.
