The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scandinavian misses with a few strikes there.
Scandinavian getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Scandinavian scores with a jab. Scandinavian fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sung Jung manages to avoid it. Sung Jung seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Scandinavian scores with a crisp jab that stopped Sung Jung in his tracks. Sung Jung takes one to the side of the head.
Scandinavian slips a straight right by Sung Jung. Sung Jung misses with a right hand and Scandinavian counters with a nice uppercut. Scandinavian misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Scandinavian jabbing away but nothing is landing. Scandinavian looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Sung Jung is breathing heavily. Scandinavian moves out of range as Sung Jung strikes. Sung Jung lands a nice shot to the body.
Sung Jung fails in his attempt to clinch. Scandinavian with a jab. Gustaf Scandinavian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Scandinavian throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Sung Jung tries to counter by clinching up but Scandinavian breaks away and moves out of range. Scandinavian works Sung Jung's body with a nice hook. Scandinavian lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Scandinavian throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Sung Jung misses with a wild body shot. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Scandinavian tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Nice straight punches there by Scandinavian. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Scandinavian.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sung Jung is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Scandinavian. Sung Jung avoids the head kick by Scandinavian.

Sung Jung tries to work over Scandinavian's front leg with a kick but Scandinavian checks it. Scandinavian throws a big counter head kick but Sung Jung avoids it with no problem. Scandinavian tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Scandinavian smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Scandinavian tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Scandinavian with a hook. Sung Jung uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Scandinavian.
Sung Jung clinches up with Scandinavian and pushes him back against the cage. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Sung Jung creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Scandinavian blocks a punch to the side of the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Scandinavian is looking to break free of the clinch but Sung Jung has double underhooks. Sung Jung throws a head punch that misses. Still in the clinch, Sung Jung scores with a nice short uppercut. Scandinavian can't break the clinch.
Scandinavian has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Sung Jung avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Sung Jung pushes Scandinavian back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Scandinavian blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Sung Jung cracks Scandinavian with a nice body shot. Sung Jung gets through Scandinavian's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Sung Jung lands a hook to the side of the head. Sung Jung lands with a short shot to the head. Sung Jung working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Scandinavian is rocked! Sung Jung lands with a light punch inside. Scandinavian is still on wobbly legs! Can Sung Jung finish him? Sung Jung pushes Scandinavian back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Sung Jung lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Scandinavian takes a shot to the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sung Jung dips a shoulder and cracks Scandinavian with a mighty uppercut! Scandinavian falls back against the cage and Sung Jung unloads with a barrage of strikes! Scandinavian is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Sung Jung screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Archer counters by moving into the clinch. Silva can't get the takedown.
Archer is trying to trip Silva. He has hold of a leg but Silva is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Archer persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Silva is wriggling around but Archer manages to pass to half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Silva controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Archer controlling the action here. Archer tries to pass the half guard into mount. Silva knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Silva tries to get to full guard but Archer has control of the leg. Silva is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Archer content to control rather than advance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Archer connects with a nice short shot to Silva's temple. Silva is looking to control Archer's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Silva avoid being mounted? Archer is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Silva sees it coming and defends easily. Silva actively working from the bottom here. Silva looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Archer looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Archer not doing much here.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Archer is defended easily by Silva. Archer moves into range and clinches up with Silva. Archer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Archer gets the takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Silva takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Silva is pushing Archer's head away, looking to escape. Archer manages to hold on to the position though. Archer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Silva keeps working. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Archer is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Silva can do to turn this around? Silva is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Archer's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Anderson Archer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Silva is in a horrible position here. Archer smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

And Silva tries to counter it with a takedown but Archer pushes his down on his head and steps out. Silva fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Archer avoids it really well and circles away. Archer is looking for a counter combo. Silva darts in looking for a takedown but Archer gets double underhooks and turns Silva into the cage. Archer has taken the fight to the clinch.

Silva is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Archer wants to control but Silva is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Archer looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Silva is looking for the big counter here. Anderson Archer is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. No luck with that takedown attempt from Archer. Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Archer's waist but Archer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side. Silva shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Archer as he avoids it easily. Silva takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Archer has Silva up against the cage in a clinch.

Silva trying to control the position from guard on top but Archer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Archer is looking for a triangle but Silva pushes his legs off easily.
Silva working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Archer is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Archer continues to stall.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Silva is looking to stand up but Archer won't let him.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Archer sprawls well. He's pushed Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A punch combination from Archer misses. Silva blocks a head kick by Archer.
Archer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Silva as he jumps to the side. Joao Silva has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Anderson Archer is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Archer drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Anderson Archer showed his dominance in that final round. Well Archer has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith digs a good body shot into Biernat's ribs. Biernat on the wrong end of a nice jab. Biernat throws a head kick that misses and Smith counters with a straight right hand. Smith lands with a hook. Biernat tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Mateusz Biernat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Smith scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Mateusz Biernat has been cut. Oooh a lovely combination from Smith sends Biernat down but not out. Smith dives into side control looking to finish.
Biernat is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Oh Biernat is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Amagov circles away from the clinch attempt and Amagov counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Amagov. Amagov looking to sit in guard and control but McConnell gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Amagov has a closed guard, preventing McConnell from standing up. Amagov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. McConnell doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. McConnell manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McConnell lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. McConnell wants to clinch up but Amagov keeps it at a distance.

Amagov uses his free foot to push down on McConnell's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for McConnell. Amagov landing strikes, looking to finish! Amagov is working for a guillotine from mount but McConnell frees his head quite easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Amagov goes for an armbar but McConnell turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from McConnell. Amagov trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. McConnell avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Amagov has his feet on McConnell's thighs here. He's pushed McConnell off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! McConnell screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! OQuinn throws a series of punches but Ritchey avoids them all with ease. OQuinn moves in looking to clinch but Ritchey pushes him off. Ritchey unleashes a big counter combination but OQuinn bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Ritchey will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

OQuinn went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. OQuinn fails with an attempt to clinch.
OQuinn tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ritchey manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Ritchey looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. OQuinn shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Ritchey eats them both and turns towards OQuinn to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. OQuinn tries to clinch up. Ritchey doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Ritchey throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. A nice combination there by OQuinn.

Huber closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bryant circles away. Huber's coach down at Lovelair Muay Thai/MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Huber's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Huber throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Pouncey doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pouncey manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Pouncey wants to control from the top but Brock keeps moving. Pouncey must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Pouncey lands a couple of decent looking shots. Pouncey trying to control the position from guard on top but Brock is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Pouncey slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Pouncey sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Brock's guard. Kelvin Pouncey has got the better of the ground game so far. Brock tries to roll over but Pouncey keeps him under control. Brock is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Pouncey's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Pouncey's back! Brock struggling to land strikes to the head as Pouncey covers up. That's four minutes gone in the round. Pouncey trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Brock postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Pouncey is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Brock, into his guard. Pouncey is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Brock is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Pouncey is aware though and is defending well. Pouncey with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Brock keeping full guard, as Pouncey tries to pass. Pouncey is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Pouncey trying to control but Brock is working from the bottom. Pouncey not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Pouncey drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Brock defends it well. We've been told by Brock's head coaches at School Of Hard Knocks that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Pouncey moves away from the strike by Brock. Pouncey throws a body shot but no joy. Brock staying out of range there. A jab lands there for Brock. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brock misses with a left hand and Pouncey counters with a nice uppercut. Brock tried to score with a low kick but Pouncey checks it. A jab from Brock misses. A jab lands there for Brock. Brock throws a shot from downtown. Pouncey moves away and avoids it. Pouncey throws a leg kick but Brock checks it. A little feinted left hand from Brock on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brock throws a hook to the side of Pouncey's head but Pouncey sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Pouncey connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Eddie Brock is winning the standup battle so far. Nice takedown defense from Brock. No joy for Pouncey on that attempt. Brock jabs at Pouncey's body. Pouncey tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Brock defends well and Pouncey ends up having to push Brock into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Brock throws out a loose jab but Pouncey uses good head movement to avoid it. Pouncey lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Brock at a distance.

Brock tries to land a front kick but Pouncey steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Pouncey keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Brock. Pouncey swings and misses with a shot to the body and Pouncey takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Brock bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Pouncey's head backwards. A slow jab from Pouncey misses its intended target. A decent looking cross lands there for Brock.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pouncey shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Brock napping and manages to drive through into side control! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Brock is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Pouncey's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Brock moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Pouncey avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Brock keeping moving, preventing Pouncey from controlling successfully. Brock can't keep his opponent in guard - Pouncey advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Pouncey is trying to control the action in half guard but Brock is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Pouncey perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Brock is not content to let Pouncey control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brock is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Pouncey looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Brock is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Pouncey's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Pouncey's back! Brock is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Brock misses with a punch to the head.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Webb throws an overhand right that lands on Grunge's shoulder, as Grunge tries to avoid the shot. Grunge keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Grunge appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Grunge leaves Webb with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Grunge ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Webb moves away. Webb half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Grunge takes one to the chin there. Grunge uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Webb. Webb on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Grunge. Grunge obviously looking to wear him down.

Webb leaves his chin hanging out and Grunge seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Webb crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Komaroff moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Komaroff cracks a nice hook into Quin's ribs. Komaroff throws a head kick that misses. Quin drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Komaroff defends it well. Komaroff connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Quin's hands. Quin uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Nice defenses there by Quin. Komaroff ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Komaroff misses with a hook. Quin ducked under it nicely. Quin gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Komaroff to score an easy takedown into full guard. Quin pushes Komaroff off and gets back to his feet.

Komaroff attempts a counter takedown but Quin avoids it well and moves away. Quin looks to land a combination. Komaroff sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Quin throws a right and a left that Komaroff avoids nicely. Quin with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Komaroff to score with a decent uppercut. Quin slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Komaroff has been working on his balance at 99% Fight Club, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Quin. Komaroff misses with a straight left. Quin shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Quin looks to throw the jab but Komaroff is out of range. Komaroff appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Quin takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Alexander Quin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
