I think McCartney might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Lord of the Boy. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Alberto Barraza! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCartney will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Barraza connects with a single shot there. Barraza scores with a hook to the body. McCartney takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Barraza misses with a double jab.
Barraza scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. McCartney doesn't seem bothered though. Barraza lands with a shot to the body. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Barraza, as that shot connected.
Barraza lands with a nice body punch. Excellent takedown into side control there by McCartney. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McCartney decides to stand back up. Barraza misses with a few strikes there.
McCartney attempts a counter takedown but Barraza avoids it well and moves away. McCartney clinches.

McCartney tries to throw a body punch but Barraza avoids it by throwing McCartney back against the cage. Barraza is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but McCartney is keeping busy. McCartney turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! McCartney decides to take the fight back to the feet. Barraza slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. McCartney looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Barraza jabs McCartney to the body, keeping him at a distance. McCartney closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McCartney drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Barraza gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Barraza swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Barraza is trying to break the clinch but McCartney has him pressed against the cage. Barraza is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Barraza can't break the clinch.
McCartney keeps control of Barraza as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. A head punch on the inside from Barraza fails to land. McCartney ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. McCartney no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barraza in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Barraza throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as McCartney works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Barraza distracts McCartney with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Barraza loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. McCartney is trying to control the position but Barraza postures up. McCartney avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. McCartney on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if McCartney tries to get out of the position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Barraza accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Barraza throws an elbow that misses. McCartney uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Barraza's guard. Nice move by McCartney! Barraza not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

McCartney decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Barraza, up you get!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barraza shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. McCartney eats them both and turns towards Barraza to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Nice takedown defense from Barraza. No joy for McCartney on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Austin McCartney. That's going to take a lot out of him. McCartney moves into the clinch. Barraza looking to slow down the pace here. We've been informed that Barraza has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. McCartney controlling the action here for a moment.
McCartney has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Barraza regains guard immediately. McCartney gets to his feet - Barraza follows without any prompting. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

McCartney feinted with a counter takedown. McCartney throws a leg kick and Barraza counters with a lovely straight right hand! Barraza changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. McCartney walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McCartney rushes Barraza and presses him up against the cage. Barraza is pressed up against the cage. McCartney has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Barraza down to the mat. Barraza avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Austin McCartney. That's going to take a lot out of him. Barraza scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. McCartney takes a shot right to the bread basket. Barraza's jab looks to have found its range, popping McCartney under the eye.

So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

McCartney is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Barraza. McCartney takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Excellent takedown into side control there by McCartney. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McCartney has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Barraza takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Barraza connects with a nice looking jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McCartney decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. McCartney stands up out of the half guard. Barraza misses with a jab, cross combination.
Nice takedown defense from Barraza. No joy for McCartney on that attempt. A nice side step and Barraza releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. McCartney darts in looking for a takedown but Barraza gets double underhooks and turns McCartney into the cage. Barraza moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Gendozo cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Gendozo cracks Gracie Jr with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Gracie Jr is looking to get to half guard. Gendozo trying to control but he's not successful this time. Gendozo prevents Gracie Jr from getting the reversal. Gracie Jr is breathing heavily. Gendozo lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Gracie Jr is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gendozo postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Gracie Jr badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Gendozo around the waist but Gendozo pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Gendozo is the winner by TKO! Gendozo jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Dick shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kaczjarg's guard. Dick throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Dick is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Kaczjarg avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kaczjarg can't keep his opponent in guard - Dick advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kaczjarg taking some punishment here, with Dick in his half guard. Dick is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Kaczjarg is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Keller is positioning himself well to prevent Penzer advancing to mount. Penzer is pressing down on Keller's thigh, looking to free his foot. Keller is holding on for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Penzer winds up and cracks Keller with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Penzer working over Keller with some ground and pound. Keller looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Penzer tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Keller. Penzer throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Keller to regain full guard. Penzer pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Keller is keeping the position for now. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mario Penzer. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Penzer, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Nice takedown defense from Hampton. No joy for Edkins on that attempt. Edkins blocks a jab. Hampton cracks Edkins with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Edkins takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hampton misses the shot to the body. Edkins keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hampton ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Edkins moves away. Hampton scores with a crisp jab that stopped Edkins in his tracks. Hampton swings and misses with a hook to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Edkins moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Hampton works the jab nicely.
Edkins is rocked! Edkins misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Oh Edkins is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Hampton throws an uppercut from hell that sends Edkins clean off his feet! He's out cold! Hampton stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
