Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Zander Harland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rich Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Harland might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to We Don't Know. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zander Harland! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rich Junior! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Taro Takaoka and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Junior misses with a takedown attempt and Harland counters with a stiff right hand. Junior shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Harland napping and manages to drive through into side control! Junior lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Harland down.
Junior cracks Harland with a big right hand but Harland just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Junior lands some shots froms side control. Junior throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Harland works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Harland avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Junior. Junior is working for a submission of some sort.
Junior not landing any meaningful shots this time. Junior is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Harland doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Junior. Junior throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Harland takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Junior wants to improve his position but Harland is controlling well.

Harland postures up and lands a big shot to Junior's brow. Harland slips nicely into half guard. Junior tries to roll over but Harland keeps him under control. Harland content to control rather than advance. Junior is trying to get back to full guard. Harland wants to take a breather but Junior is having none of it. Harland gets caught napping as Junior dives in and scores a takedown. Harland manages to retain guard. Junior has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. We've been hearing good reports from Harland's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Harland throws a strike but Junior rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Junior is fighting to break Harland's control of his arms but Harland is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Harland utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Junior postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Harland is controlling Junior's posture. Harland is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Junior is looking for a sweep. Harland is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Harland winds up and cracks Junior with a swinging punch to the side of the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Harland lands strikes from half guard. Junior looking for submissions off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Junior has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Harland. Oh but Junior has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Harland goes limp - he's gone! Junior jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McGuire takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Mike McGuire has been cut. McGee misses with a wild body shot. A jab lands there for McGee. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that McGuire has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. McGee clinches with his opponent.

McGuire misses with a wild body shot. McGee throwing a counter right hand but McGuire manages to avoid it. McGee takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

and McGuire counters with a nice uppercut. McGuire misses with a straight right. McGee has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from McGuire. McGee closes the distance and pushes McGuire back into the cage. McGuire softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.

McGuire tries to work over McGee's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. McGee landing some nice looking knees to the body.

McGuire throws a low kick but it's checked well by McGee. McGee misses the shot to the body. Good leg kick by McGee there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

McGee throws a leg kick that is checked and McGuire counters with a nice leg kick. McGuire scores with a decent looking hook. McGuire takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McGuire throws a leg kick but McGee sees it coming and checks it nicely. McGee walks into a left hand. McGee takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McGee is looking to clinch but McGuire is avoiding it.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! McGuire crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from McGee - the referee stops the clock and McGuire gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says McGee. McGuire manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. McGee tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. McGee moves in looking to clinch but McGuire pushes him off. McGuire takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
McGuire has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from McGee finds it's way round the side to connect with McGuire's head. McGee throws a right hand that misses
and McGuire counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. McGuire on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by McGee. McGee obviously looking to wear him down.
And that's the end of the fight! Mike McGuire comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think McGuire has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

We've been informed that Payakaroon has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Payakaroon scores with a decent looking hook. The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Anderson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pilvi misses with a body kick. Pilvi with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hanak to score with a decent uppercut. Pilvi throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Hanak lands a head shot. Hanak tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Pilvi is able to avoid easily. Pilvi lands a glancing blow to the side of Hanak's head. Hanak clinches. Pilvi pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hanak has been working on his boxing with his coaches at FORBIDDEN VIOLENCE WARRIORS in the buildup to the fight. Hanak uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pilvi.
Hanak throws a nice outside leg kick. Pilvi checks a leg kick. Pilvi scores with a decent looking hook. Hanak throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pilvi sees it coming and avoids it easily. A little jabbing left from Pilvi on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Hanak moves out of range of the body kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pilvi walks forward, straight into a front kick from Hanak. Hanak throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Hanak closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Pilvi to the mat! Pilvi manages to get full guard. Pilvi told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Hanak trying to control but Pilvi is working from the bottom. Hanak postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Hanak with a flurry of punches that miss.

Ajax connects with a nice short shot to Tonga's temple. Ajax trying to advance position but Tonga counters by regaining guard. Tonga utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Tonga is pulling down on Ajax's head. It's preventing any offense from Ajax, at least for the moment. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ajax accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Ajax drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Tonga dives on top into guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Marco Ajax comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Ajax has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diego lands a jab. Diego looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Arnold fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Diego manages to avoid it. Diego tries to close the distance and clinch up but Arnold swats him away and circles back towards the center. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jitsu bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Jitsu moves away from the strike by Haades. Jitsu feinted with a counter takedown. Jitsu on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Haades leaves Jitsu with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Haades with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Jitsu has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Haades is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Jitsu. Jitsu tries to get back to half guard but can't. Haades controls the position from side control. Haades tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Jitsu is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Jitsu is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Haades off and has taken his back!

The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
