The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Heysel shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dos Santos napping and manages to drive through into side control! Heysel is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dos Santos has escaped the position, nice work there. Heysel tries for a kimura but Dos Santos is defending well. Heysel decides to stand up, so the ref orders Dos Santos to his feet. Dos Santos misses with a kick to the body.
Heysel closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Dos Santos is pushing Heysel's head away, looking to escape. Heysel manages to hold on to the position though. Heysel lands a decent elbow from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rumble takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Jackson is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Levin rather than just go for the knockout. Levin lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
