Bak parries the strikes from Wooden easily there. Wooden is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bak to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bak is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Wooden has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Wooden lands a nice forearm strike.
Wooden is working Bak over with some ground and pound from side control.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Wooden tries to score with some ground and pound. Bak controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bam changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tuminen tries to avoid it but Bam manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tuminen to the ground. Tuminen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
