The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gazelle closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Dixon quickly recovers to half guard.

Dixon has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Gazelle is on him like a limpet, forcing Dixon back against the cage.
Dixon lands a left hand.
Dixon is trying to break free.

Gazelle pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gazelle looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Dixon closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gazelle is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dixon.
Gazelle shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dixon defends it nicely.

Dixon lands a big uppercut and Gazelle crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Gazelle looks OK. Dixon waves Gazelle back to his feet!

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Dixon has cracked Gazelle with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Dixon lands another huge swinging hook and Gazelle tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Gazelle, before Dixon can land any more shots!
