The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Iwoba is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Maiden's half guard. Maiden wants to get back to full guard. Maiden makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Maiden. Maiden working a defensive guard but Iwoba passes into half guard.
Maiden is looking for a sweep. Iwoba is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Iwoba controlling the pace. Iwoba is continuing to stall. Iwoba scoring with strikes to the body and head. Iwoba manages to get his head free but now Maiden has transitioned to an armbar! Iwoba grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Maiden! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Saming steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hell. Hell looks to throw the jab but Saming is out of range. A big left from Hell misses. Saming is trying to counter with his kicks. Saming on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Hell. Hell obviously looking to wear him down.
Saming throws a quick inside leg kick. Saming connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Hell throws a hook to the side of Saming's head but Saming sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Saming attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Hell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Saming tries to avoid it but Hell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Saming to the ground. Hell appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Saming connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. A chopping leg kick lands by Hell. Hell misses the shot to the body. Saming feints a counter leg kick. Saming jabs Hell right on the nose. Hell blinks but takes it well. Hell throws an overhand right that lands on Saming's shoulder, as Saming tries to avoid the shot. A jab from Hell misses. Hell gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Saming. Hell throws a low kick, looking for Saming's leg but Saming calmly moves out of range. A little jabbing left from Saming on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Hell throws a good cross that connects.

Saming throws a body shot but no joy. Good standup being displayed there by Hell as he connects with a hook. Saming throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Saming lands with a cross. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hell swings and misses with a hook to the body.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Raise Hell. I think Hell has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The fight is ruled a draw! Raise Hell retains his title. It's always disappointing when a championship fight ends as a draw but that's what happens when you leave the fight in the judges hands!
