The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lassiter throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Kortez fails with the takedown and Lassiter counters with a one-two to the body. Lassiter misses with a jab, cross combination.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kingsly clinches. Kingsly tightens his grip and picks Bundvich up, before dumping him to the ground. Bundvich manages to land in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kingsly looking to pass the guard. Kingsly trying to control the position from guard on top but Bundvich is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kingsly prevents Bundvich from getting back to his feet. Kingsly looking to pass the guard. Kingsly controlling from the top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Igorevich! But no joy. Igorevich gets in close and instigates a clinch. Lao tries to pull guard but Igorevich forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Lao breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Igorevich pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Lao back to the cage. Igorevich follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Igorevich lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Igorevich stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Igorevich wants it to stay on the feet. No joy there for Igorevich, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gregory fails with the takedown. Gregory tries for a takedown but Lentz circles away easily and Lentz counters with a takedown into side control. Lentz is trying to ground and pound but Gregory uses the momentary lack of control by Lentz to regain half guard. Lentz winds up and cracks Gregory with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Lentz thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gregory's head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lentz wants to pass the guard but Gregory is defending well. Lentz missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Lentz is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lentz prevents Gregory from improving his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lentz seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Gregory tries to kick Lentz off but Lentz keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Lentz fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Gregory to the ground. Lentz is now in Gregory's guard. Gregory is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Gregory is fighting off a takedown attempt but Lentz is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Gregory to the mat. Gregory regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Gregory manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Lentz looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Gregory shoots and misses and Lentz counters with a nice double leg into guard. Jones cracks Bart with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Bart from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
