These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Victor Ulriksen! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Paul Tew and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A solid leg kick lands there for Drogo.
Ulriksen darts in looking for a takedown but Drogo gets double underhooks and turns Ulriksen into the cage. Sloppy strikes from Drogo. Those never looked like landing. As Drogo backs off Ulriksen throws a huge counter combo but Drogo manages to avoid it all. Excellent takedown into side control there by Ulriksen. Ulriksen is trying to ground and pound but Drogo uses the momentary lack of control by Ulriksen to regain half guard. Drogo blocking the ground and pound attempt from Ulriksen. Ulriksen keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Drogo is trying to stand back up but Ulriksen is controlling him
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ulriksen not landing any meaningful shots this time. Drogo keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Ulriksen trying to control from Drogo's half guard. Drogo has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Ulriksen working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.

Ulriksen throws a big elbow that misses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ulriksen engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Ulriksen loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Ulriksen scoring with some ground and pound. Ulriksen throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Ulriksen sitting in guard, not really doing much. Ulriksen with a flurry of punches that miss. Drogo throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Ulriksen shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Drogo is trying to defend but Ulriksen finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Drogo regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Ulriksen. Drogo utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Ulriksen showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ulriksen lands a couple of elbows. Ulriksen throws a sloppy strike and Drogo has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Ulriksen is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Drogo!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sirven looks to land a right hand but Sata moved out of range. Sata avoids the body shot from Sirven.
Sirven misses with an uppercut. The fighters circling - Sirven throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Sata clinches. Sirven leaning his opponent against the cage. Sata has hold of one of Sirven's legs. Sirven is fighting the takedown attempt but Sata gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Sirven has his hands on Sata's head, controlling the position. Sirven manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sata manages to get himself to full guard.

That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sirven has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Sirven trying to control the position but Sata is working away. Sirven working the ground and pound from side control. Sata is not content to let Sirven control the position. Sirven connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Sata some visible discomfort.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sirven works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. The strikes coming from Sirven are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Sirven lands some shots froms side control. Sirven tries to score with some ground and pound. Sata controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sirven slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Sirven is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sata defends well.

Now he's in top in Sata's guard. Sirven slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Sirven working the ground and pound. Sata is trying to control Sirven's posture but Sirven avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sata tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Sata can't escape the position.
Sata is working hard here to advance position. Sirven looking to control but Sata is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Sirven prevents Sata from getting the reversal. Sirven landing strikes, looking to finish! Sirven putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Sirven lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Sata hang on? Oh Sata is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Sata is working to get back to half guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sundwarrama scores with a one two! Soni had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Tanishk Soni has been cut. Sundwarrama rushes Soni and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Sundwarrama misses with a knee to the head. Sundwarrama stalling the fight.

Soni quickly recovers to half guard. We've been hearing good reports from Sundwarrama's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Soni is trying to control but Sundwarrama manages to pass to mount!

Aawut Sundwarrama overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Soni is fighting to break Sundwarrama's control of his arms but Sundwarrama is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Sundwarrama on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sundwarrama tries to get out of the position. Sundwarrama throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Soni preventing the sweep. Sundwarrama pulls Soni in close to prevent any damage. Sundwarrama lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Soni can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sundwarrama controls the pace.

Sundwarrama wants to free his trapped foot but Soni is holding on for dear life with his legs. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sundwarrama closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Sundwarrama remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Sundwarrama's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Sundwarrama fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Soni tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Sundwarrama defends well and Soni ends up having to push Sundwarrama into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Sundwarrama seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Sundwarrama lands with a slapping head kick. A thudding body kick lands there by Sundwarrama!
Soni takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Sundwarrama lands a big head kick that sends Soni tumbling to the mat! Sundwarrama takes a step backwards and waves Soni back to his feet - he wants the finish! Soni is still on wobbly legs! Can Sundwarrama finish him?
Tanishk Soni's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tanishk Soni's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Nomo finds it's way through Distacio Jr's defenses. Nomo thows a left - swing and a miss! A punch lands to the side of Distacio Jr 's head but he takes it in his stride. Nomo throws an ugly left hook that misses

It looks like Shintaro Nomo has been cut. Jab from Nomo. Distacio Jr keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Nomo. Nomo misses with a double jab.
Nice cross by Nomo. Nice defenses there by Distacio Jr. Nomo rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Distacio Jr counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Nomo sizes up Distacio Jr with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. This has been an exciting period of action! Nomo moves out of range as Distacio Jr strikes. Nomo misses with a hook. Distacio Jr ducked under it nicely. It seemed like Distacio Jr was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nomo scores with the left hand. Distacio Jr knows he should have avoided that one. Distacio Jr takes one to the chin there. Nomo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Distacio Jr manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Distacio Jr stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Nomo. Distacio Jr pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Nomo scores with a jab. Distacio Jr acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Distacio Jr scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Nomo with a nice cross. Nice uppercut lands for Nomo. That snapped Distacio Jr's head back.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nice shot lands for Nomo. Distacio Jr's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Nomo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Distacio Jr scrambles back to his feet.

and Distacio Jr counters with a good low kick that Nomo was not able to check. Shintaro Nomo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A jab from Distacio Jr misses. Nomo throws the left hand but Distacio Jr avoids the punch easily. Nomo takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Nice uppercut lands for Distacio Jr. That snapped Nomo's head back.

Some bone on bone action there as Distacio Jr checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Distacio Jr now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Nomo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Distacio Jr counters with a low kick, right behind Nomo 's knee. Distacio Jr pivots, looking for a leg kick but Nomo is out of range and Distacio Jr settles back down. Nomo throws a right hand that Distacio Jr ducks under and follows up with a left that Distacio Jr also avoids with ease. Nomo loads up on a big right hand but Distacio Jr slips the punch. Nomo takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Nomo steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Distacio Jr. Distacio Jr throws a poor cross that misses

Alexandrov darts in looking for a takedown but Take gets double underhooks and turns Alexandrov into the cage. Take is looking to counter with a body kick. Nice body kick there by Take. Take thuds his right hand into Alexandrov's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Take defending well as Alexandrov loads up on a big left hand. It looks like Take has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. A jab lands there for Alexandrov. Take moves out of range as Alexandrov strikes. Alexandrov misses with a body punch
and Take counters with a nice low kick that buckles Alexandrov's knee momentarily. Alexandrov takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Take uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Alexandrov. Yamato Take is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Take avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Take swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Alexandrov.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Alexandrov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Take manages to avoid it. Take lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Good standup being displayed there by Alexandrov as he connects with a hook. Alexandrov moves into the clinch. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Alexandrov might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Take has got the better of the exchanges. Take misses with the head strike.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. A nice right hand lands inside from Take. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Take lands a right hand. Alexandrov is still on wobbly legs! Can Take finish him? Alexandrov is breathing heavily. A short right from Take. Alexandrov throws a punch but it's blocked by Take.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Take creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Alexandrov's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Alexandrov drops to his knees and Take pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Turnbull bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Turnbull turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Turnbull with a body punch. A glancing blow. An inside leg kick from Turnbull misses. Giantsbane misses with a straight left. Giantsbane tries to move into range but Turnbull moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Giantsbane throws a jab but it's blocked by Turnbull. Giantsbane with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Turnbull to score with a decent uppercut. Turnbull connects with the punch. Turnbull slips a jab from Giantsbane. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fredrickson looks to score with a jab to the body but Dovah-Kinn is just out of range. Dovah-Kinn tries to counter with a takedown but Fredrickson is quick to defend against it. Dovah-Kinn lands a nice leg kick that just misses Fredrickson's sensitive parts. A slow jab from Fredrickson misses its intended target. Fredrickson misses with an uppercut. Fredrickson's coach down at Urban Achievers was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Fredrickson's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. A shot to the body from Fredrickson misses and Dovah-Kinn counters with an inside leg kick. Fredrickson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
It looks like Jaun-Paul Fredrickson has been cut. Fredrickson throws out a loose jab but Dovah-Kinn uses good head movement to avoid it. It looked like Dovah-Kinn wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Dovah-Kinn displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fredrickson throws out the jab. A little feinted left hand from Dovah-Kinn on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Fredrickson lands a nice looking body shot.
Jaun-Paul Fredrickson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A slow jab from Fredrickson misses its intended target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fredrickson stuns Dovah-Kinn with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Fredrickson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Dovah-Kinn on the side of the head. A cross from Fredrickson lands. Fredrickson checks a low kick from Dovah-Kinn. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dovah-Kinn thumps Fredrickson with a low kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fredrickson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Fredrickson takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Fredrickson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

and Dovah-Kinn counters with a huge left! Fredrickson is in big trouble! He's backing up but Dovah-Kinn isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Fredrickson from any more damage. A dominating finish by Dovah-Kinn!
