The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. The referee calls for Jackson to work.
Jam lands on the inside with an uppercut. Jackson being controlled against the cage. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Jam manages to break the clinch.
We've been hearing reports that Jackson has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Jam scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jam's corner calls for a 1-2. Jam obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Jackson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jam works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Jackson with a poor takedown and Jam counters with a huge right that knocks Jackson out cold! Jam is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walter lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. A shot to the liver by Walter. Beautiful body shot. Chief tries to clinch and Chief takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Bobby Chief seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chief is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Walter's half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Walter is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Chief not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Chief throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Chief takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Chief has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Walter defend it? Chief steps over the head and cranks it - Walter is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Chief!

Frye is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Mante throws a leg kick and Frye counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Frye really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Mante scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Frye doesn't seem bothered though. Mante walks into a stiff left hand from Frye. Frye throws a body punch but Mante moves out of range. Frye is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Mante throws a right hand that misses
and Frye counters with a big right hand! Oh Mante is in trouble here! Frye follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

French Frye very nearly forgot to thank Urban Fighter amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hotdog jabs at West's body. West misses with a head kick.
Hotdog blocks a jab. Hotdog was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Hotdog blocks a leg kick. A quick step to the side and Hotdog tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. West misses with a jab, cross combination.
A chopping leg kick lands by West. West throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hotdog pushing out the jab but it's not landing. West takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Nice uppercut lands for Hotdog. That snapped West's head back.
Hotdog connects with a body shot that sends West's belly button to the back. Hotdog waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract West. Hotdog ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. A little feinted left hand from Hotdog on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from West. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hotdog keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Hotdog slips under a jab. West looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Jerry West seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. West just misses with a punch to the body.
West is looking to chop away at Hotdog's legs. As West looks to move away, Hotdog throws a big counter combo but West just gets out of the way. Hotdog lands a jab to West's midsection. Hotdog uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from West. West takes one on the chin but seems OK.
