The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smirnoff throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Smirnoff pushes Piper away with a front kick.
Smirnoff moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Piper is breathing heavily.
Smirnoff changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Piper tries to avoid it but Smirnoff manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Piper to the ground. Piper escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Smirnoff dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
We've been hearing reports that Piper has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Smirnoff lands a left and a right that send Piper crashing to the mat, dazed. Smirnoff thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Roddy Piper has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Smirnoff lands with a kick to the ribs.

Smirnoff lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Piper circles away quickly and effectively.

Smirnoff rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Piper moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Tyson Jr Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Van Anderson tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Hogan working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Hogan is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Van Anderson is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Tobious Khan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Graves darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Graves is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Khan defends it well.
Graves is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Graves is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Khan is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Khan flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Graves anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Khan and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Graves slips an arm under Khan chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Graves has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Graves is squeezing on Khan like an anaconda would it's prey. Khan fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

and Struja counters with a crisp one two that drops Narkovic! Struja thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Narkovic to his feet! Narkovic is in big trouble!
Narkovic throws a sloppy head kick and Struja moves out of range easily.
Narkovic drops his hands momentarily. Struja doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Narkovic staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Narkovic doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Duncan moves forwards but Longworth connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Longworth scores with a jab. Duncan acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

and Duncan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Duncan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Longworth throws a body kick that misses.
Duncan swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Longworth throws a hook but Duncan blocks it.
Longworth checks a leg kick nicely.
Vinnie Longworth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Duncan misses with an uppercut. Longworth saw that one coming.
Longworth bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Duncan's head backwards.

Duncan is rocked!
Longworth looks to land a right hand but Duncan moved out of range.
Oh Duncan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Duncan avoids a punch combination nicely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Longworth jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Longworth.
Duncan struggling a bit here.
Duncan is looking for a sweep.

Longworth is working to tighten his grip on Duncan's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Duncan has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Longworth is really squeezing tight and eventually Duncan passes out! Longworth breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
