The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drotske swings widly with a right hand
and Fernando counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Fernando takes a shot right to the bread basket. Drotske misses with a straight left. Fernando throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Fernando throws a nice inside leg kick. Fernando throws a body shot but no joy. Drotske throws a lazy uppercut
and Fernando counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Fernando lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Fernando throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Drotske sees it coming and avoids it easily. An attempted straight right counter from Drotske misses the target. Drotske thows a left - swing and a miss! Fernando was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Drotske looks to score with a jab to the body but Fernando is just out of range. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Fernando has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
