The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Harden takes the fight into the clinch.

and Hell counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Hell lands a left and a right that send Grimdal crashing to the mat, dazed. Hell thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Reggie Grimdal has been cut.
Hell throws a leg kick but Grimdal checks it.

Gracie fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hund throws a head kick but Gracie moves out of range.

Hund is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Gracie's half guard.
Gracie wants to improve his position but Hund is controlling well.

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Captain Gonza (ranked 579 p4p, 55 weight class) and Eddie Gelfen (ranked 2833 p4p, 293 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gonza might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mononoke Hime. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Gonza definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Gonza stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Gelfen.

Gelfen has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
A punch lands to the side of Gelfen 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Gelfen takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gonza throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Gonza swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Gonza cracks Gelfen with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Gonza has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Gelfen to stand back up!

Gonza is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Gelfen.
Gelfen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gonza.

Gonza feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Gelfen sprawling to the canvas! Gelfen rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Gonza finish him?!

Gelfen is rocked!

Gelfen tries to get into range but Gonza steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Gelfen! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Gonza scores the big KO victory!
